I'll definitely give Liam Helmsworth a chance, as he might be good in the role. He must have shown some promise in auditions for them to think he can follow up on Cavill. And I'm glad for Cavill, if Warhammer is his true jam, but dang the vagaries of Hollywood!

Apparently, he opted not to do a fourth season of Witcher in order to return to Superman. Oops...

@Bolt That's a pretty nice looking scheme!

That looks good! Glad to see Driver keeping himself out there, unlike the other TFA alum...

Not too bummed. Things have been up in the air for years so this is no surprise, despite his cameo in Black Adam, which is now his last appearance as Supes. I just don't want them to reboot again. Just get a different actor and proceed as through we know how he got here. And hopefully Gunn has some plans for Supergirl, cause I would love to see her back on the big screen! The recent series was good at first and Benoist was awesome, and who knows if we'll even see the Flash version at all... And of course, how about the Witcher?! Are the contracts already signed so Cavil out of that too??? Makes me wish he'd just decided to leave Supes in the past after Justice League.

It's a variable cockpit... I'll be here all night folks, enjoy the veil!

For whatever reason, Sorsha did not take care of her blade, but Kit does!😜 IMO, episode 4 continues the upward trend in likability surpassing mere nostalgia-bait. That makes me wonder how they film these, as close to episode number as possible? Me thinks it might be better to start filming on the puff episodes/scenes first in order to get the cast and writers on the same page and work the feel out of it before starting on the real stuff. Maybe even do two episodes almost like prototypes, never intended to be scene but just as a way to shake off the brittle 'newness.'

National Treasure series. The first two EPs are up on Disney+

There's just something about a mature woman - who just happens to be a hot brunette!😜

Seeing this reminded me about those still shots from the series, with Hikaru and Misa. This is just after he rescued her from the ruin of the Grand Cannon. This is just after an exposoin has shattered the canopy Watching the Macross descend into the crater. And going to meet the ship.

I know! I'm struggling with the realization, and my wallet is quivering in fear because it knows me!😜
-
Frak! It will cost me 80 to 90 bucks to buy/ship!

I've done that also, but sometimes it's just as hard to keep from being spoiled as it was easy to find out that Han died in TFA. (Some idiot posted a leaked image on a forum.) Plus, if there's a discussion going on, I can't join! Personally, I love to binge and I still pay Netflix for their service every month. But, if they go to weekly rather than full season release at once, I may end up going intermittent with them as well as I do with others. Don't shoot yourself int he foot 'flix!

Love those color choices. They look and work great together!

@wm cheng Sorry about the bad paint experience. Better luck with the Tamiya! @Urashiman Real nice work with the plane. Paint it like it's a 1/1 mock up! @derex3592 Oh! Quite a lovely looking lady. @MechTech Still in constant awe about all those tiny bits!

Some fine dam work, @Urashiman! Congrats on getting it from 2D to Real3D! Sure, a little fine tuning needed, but the Endgame is in sight.

If you don't have a printer that prints in white, you could use white decal paper.

Though there have been some duds, I'll be sad to not see another WW or Aquman movie. I've liked both WW movies and was hoping to see more. As to Superman, I think he should be allowed to rest some and give some attention to a true teen Supergirl, then use her to recast the part. Not reboot, just recast. So dang tired of reboots!

And other than the visuals, I did not like Avatar at all.😁 I wish he had stayed focused on Alita rather than handing it off, then maybe Battle Angel would have already had a sequel by now.
-
Yes. But I think any hint of Nova should have been just that, a hint, and one that Alita never knew about, or was only slightly aware of. Everything else could happen as it did, obviously. Although, I had previously wrote that a better ending would have been showing her going out with Ido as a hunter/warrior rather than the rollerball scene... Something like that would have closed the movie up a little tighter, without the challenge shot of her pointing her sword at Zalam/Nova leading into a sequel that, three years later, hasn't happened yet. Just my thoughts on that.
-
The only thing I really didn't like about ABA is that they did not give a complete ending. They left the sequel possibilities open, rather than ensuring the movie's main story was done and tied up, which for me has only hurt it in the long run. Vector should have remained the main villain throughout, with only a few moments hinting at another antagonist pulling the strings, and completely out of Alita's perspective. Leaving the Nova plot so exposed at the end leaves such a glaring opening that I'm less likely to watch, esp if it is a one and done. I really wish movies and series would do that too. Leave the cliffhangers to mid-season, but finish the story out rather than risk having it cut short before it's finished.
