    Same here. I wanted to cancel and just buy off eBay for cheaper. Too late. HLJ has a small pack option for kits in normal sized boxes and it’s not completely horrible for price

    I'm going to have to ship my TV Qau and Glaug tommorrow - I checked last night and the CHEAPEST option was like $175 for both. Absolutely ridiculous, if I could just cancel the order I would. It's $70 worth of models, jeeeeez.

    @Big s I totally see your point. I have a lot that had a “special” coating on it. I didn’t want that version but that’s all that was available. It didn’t have under gates so it left bruises all over the place. I knew it was going to be an issue and one that could have been avoided if the gates were hidden. I may go back and strip off the coating and paint it later. Yeah didn’t want to pay $140 for the the Q-Ray TV version but that’s what happened. 🥵 Hate to say it but EBay might be a feasible option these days.

    Personally I’m not a fan of undergating. It’s one of those things when I find it is very finicky and can accidentally cause more damage to edges and if sanded just a slight bit too much can widen the seams that may need filling. Although I do see a huge benefit in pre painted or metal coated parts.

    That's the spirit! Now I can feel safe leaving the Bandai in battroid, since I'll have the Hasegawa for fighter. And big 1/48s are always cool. Though we need the YF-21, VF-1D, and VF-11 a lot more. Do we think VF-0 is too insanely big for 1/48?
