(before the thermal stickers, no less) It'll give Smokscreen some company. Too bad he looks like little more than a repaint of Sidswipe with a couple of extra parts. At least that's what it was supposed to look like. they say this now, but they also say that a repaint of the same mold is an RX-7, so i'd take any firm answer on the subject with a grain of salt. its a superdeformed car, could be any number of things. except for a volkwagon beetle, its pretty obviously not one of those. It's impossible to transform and looks like crap in robot mode Can't wait for the Jeep though. On the plus side, I found an Energon tranny I actually like. Divebomb. He's awesome... Now that I have Sideswipe, I have to say he really has grown on me. My only complaint about the Hasbro is I can't get the doors angled up like the Takara, to look more like his G1. I guess they aren't supposed to on the Hasbro? I didn't want to risk breaking it by forcing it too much, but that's a shame it can't move further. I still like it though. I do agree that robot mode is not the best but it's not all that bad either. It looks better if you transform the doors over the shoulders or behind the back BTW. Hound is BT-04 which should be right on the heels of Silverstreak I would imagine. BT-03 should start showing up end of this month/beginning of April. Those pics appear to be an early prototype with newly sculpted Sunstreaker parts mixed with a production Side Swipe base toy to get an early idea of the final sculpt. At least I hope so.
