Not really a big TF collector and I'm only really into the characters (Autobots) I remember from the original cartoon up until the 86 movie (which is the only TF show/movie that I can stand to watch these days). Plus, Hasbro TFs are not as easy to come by here... so it's great for me that Takara came out with this set.

I wanna say I got this 100% cuz of nostalgia, but I also wanted to see if I could fit those backpack wing thingys and shoulder cannon onto my earthrise Wheeljack since this one will be  staying in its cybertronian vehicle mode.

Always great to see pics of the Ghost, esp. with the whole crew :good:.

It's been a while since I last rewatched Rebels. The lego one I bought my kids over a decade ago has sadly been all but forgotten.

Still waiting for the day Rebels figs with toon acurate faces come out... hopefully after those SHF Clone Wars figs 🤞

The initial Rebels figures were very toon-accurate, I thought...

Mind you, I prefer that TVC Zeb.

Awesome pics.

I would prefer if they were 6" figures, but the faces on those look pretty decent... except for Ezra in that 1st pic... looks constipated or something lol.

Yeah, I much prefer the sculpt on Cadet Ezra:

My favorite of the Rebels figures are this two-pack, however.

They're not very posable, but they totally nail the aesthetic. :good:

They did know which extras to pack with the Ghost HasLab, just to kick us in the feels:

Wow quite a bit SW goodness. I don’t collect but am enjoying the great pics of the crew & their ship. :good:

Glad you’re enjoying ‘em.  It’s a joy to mess around with the figures and snap pics.

Somehow missed this, & gotta these look fantastic! Am hunting these down now. Always loved the character designs in Ranma 1/2.

When you apply all those panel-lining skills to a much larger bird:

It looks quite large, perhaps more than a 1/48 F-14 it’s based on.

Technically, the pilot is 1/18 scale.

But as with most GI Joe vehicles (especially the planes), it’s very underscaled.

Did have fun customizing this Skystriker over a decade ago .

Even customized some Cobra killmarks back then to spruce up the bird:

In hindsight, I've never been so glad to have lost out on a bid I made for a used, first version of this a couple of years ago. Plus this one turned out cheaper than my final bid...

It's a rare thing to wind up paying less down the line.

With the auctions "that got away" from me or where I didn't put a bid in, I generally wound up paying MORE later on.

Glad it worked out for you! :good:

Well, it's only around a $20 difference 😅... what I'm more glad about is that I got this updated version, brand new, with what I feel are significant improvements to the figure. :good:
