Coming to Netflix on February 8, 2016 is Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny, the sequel to the 2000 martial arts epic Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. The film is directed by Yuen Woo-ping, who is best known for his fight choreography in The Matrix and Kill Bill. Michelle Yeoh reprises her role as Yu Shu Lien. Also starring are Donnie Yen (Ip Man), Harry Shum, Jr. (Mike Chang in Glee) and Jason Scott Lee (Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story).

There was a series of books and this is based on one of them... the last one, so it's not like they pulled it out of their asses. Even Ang Lee wanted to make the other books.

I did forget that the original was in Chinese though.Just got used to the story.

The trailer seems to be presenting a film that completely misses the point of the movie - star crossed lovers. Nevermind that Ang Lee wanted to make the ultimate 'kung-fu' movie.

Nevertheless, it's great seeing Michelle Yeoh doing martial arts - though the CG stuff is less than stellar. Does the wire rigging that they used in the first movie cost too much for this film's budget?

Loved the original ...but ONLY in Mandarin. ONLY EVER in Mandarin!! I'll watch this on Netflix when it comes out. Why not? Michelle Yeoh is awesome.

She's awesome. So awesome that she learned to speak Mandarin for her role in the original!
