I like the Harry Potter novels, enjoyed the movies muchly.

Regarding the new HBO TV trailer, the set pieces look great. I hear Warwick will return to play Professor Flitwick!

My wife is a yuge HP fan and is already nitpicking the trailer, lol.

Never really got into it. To me the trailer doesn’t look much different than the movies from a few years back other than the colors seem a bit different. What were your wife’s complaints?

Not real complaints, just nit picking. Example is my wife thinks the series should reflect the era they were written, the late 1990s into the aughts, without modern slang which she got a hint of in the trailer.

We'll watch it of course. I'm not a HP fan so I feel I have no stake in this series.

I was just curious, haven’t seen all the movies or read the books. I think I saw the first three movies, but really couldn’t tell you much about them. My daughter kinda grew out of those and into the hunger games around then

I've never ever stayed awake in a Harry Potter movie, ever. Extended Edition LOTR though??? No problem! I think I was just to old for the HP movies when they came out.

I stayed awake through the ones I saw, but those Zack Snyder movies really put me to sleep. I didn’t feel old until I tried watching those

The Harry Potter reference in the Lord of the Rings episode was always a classic, but would definitely get a warning from the mods

Apple TV: $12.99/mo (ads served only on non-Apple TV shows, regardless of tier)

It's a shame it was just an April Fool's joke.

It’s unfortunate that you just can’t trust the news in general these days and then the coolest news comes up on April fools. I saw a cool looking ad for cheddar bay pop tarts and thoug I knew it was a joke, my mouth was watering

Apple+ is amping it up some.

Damn, Matthew Rhys is so good already. Everybody go see him in "The Beast within" if you haven't.

Trailer looks good, but my latest experiences on Apple+ were the trainwreck second season of "Hijack", and I had to bail out of "The last Frontier" for it's stupidity. And the upcoming "Cape Fear" looks bloated, with 10 episodes announced.

I think our policy is "Never post anything news-worthy on March 31 thru April 1" or "Be wary of any posts from March 31 thru April 1".

Somebody posted an ad for a Space 1999 inflatable Eagle beach floaty for adults.  I think every comment went "I know this is April Fools but I want one!"
