TangledThorns Posted January 16 Posted January 16 I like Tomb Raider but I can think of many games that deserve a series or movie too. For starters: Deus Ex Battlefield Homeworld Crysis Half-Life Starcraft Any classic Sierra game (Space Quest, Kings Quest, etc) Yes, some are already with a Hollywood studio but they've gone nowhere whereas there has been plenty of Tomb Raider media already. There’s definitely room for some cool stuff. The Fallout series is surprisingly good and wouldn’t mind some of the ones mentioned above. Maybe go wild and a Jak and Daxter project for funsies or maybe get the testosterone going with Duke Nukem Quote
electric indigo Posted January 29 Posted January 29 The finale of Paradise S1 didn't quite live up to the buildup IMO, but Episode 7 was one of the most bone-chilling TV episodes ever, so I'm in for another round. Quote
Big s Posted February 4 Posted February 4 We watched an older show that we were a bit late at catching from before the pandemic. Vice Principals on HBO whatever it is these days. Actually was really funny and not sure why we kept putting it off. I guess there were only two seasons, but everything has a conclusion. I think if you liked Righteous Gemstones, then you’d probably really like this one as well since it has a good amount of the same cast and very similar humor style, just with two guys struggling to become the principal of the high school doing and saying things that no real high school would ever put up with…. ever. electric indigo Posted yesterday at 03:58 PM Posted yesterday at 03:58 PM Netflix' "The Beast in me" was the best miniseries I watched in the recent past. Good writing, beautifully shot, and the two leads are killing it in every scene. Hitchcock reloaded. Quote

Certainly seems more interesting than that other thriller miniseries that I saw the other day, His and Hers. Started out strong, then ended on a stuuupid twist that made the entire endeavor not worth it at all. Quote

Was thinking about watching that one. Trying to convince myself to finish Wonderman, but it’s sooo boring Quote

Lots of post fallout disappointments. Haven’t found anything to fill the gap yet since Fallout ran out of episodes this season Quote
Thom Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Gremlins 2 was playing the other night, and I had forgotten how wonderfully corny it was! Always love when Cates' character of Kate Beringer's starts to go into her traumatic dialogue in this one, and it's about a Lincoln-impersonator-flasher! Quote

Definitely one of the greats, also gotta love Slayer on the soundtrack Quote
