    Hi guys, I just wanted to give you a heads up on an article I wrote for the print version of GEEK Magazine that's now making its way to the GEEK Magazine website as an 8-part series all this week. Most of the toys pictured are provided by our very own MacrossWord member, xstoys (Tony). Getting more of what we love (that's 80's mecha) in mainstream media is a challenge. I'm hoping that we can get more mecha toys in mainstream publications so clicking on the following links and hitting a like and/or share button would help me show the publisher that readers do want to see more on this subject. This article goes beyond the scope of this forum and covers more than Macross, but the more I can push of this genre, the more Macross I get to cover!     Good job everyone, it was the best MWCon I've been too. (although I've only been to 3.) Does anyone remember which Macross song other than Ai Oboete Imasu ka that Mari sang? Was it Sunset Beach or Zero G Love? I forgot!

    hot chicks killing things with big guns and swords... what's not to like? i watched it, enjoyed it but admittedly, was bored with certain parts of it. but overall it was VERY visually appealing and so, i rate it a "go and see but don't expect a good story".

    yea, i'm aware of this version. i used to have a bootleg video of it that i bought at a convention back in '87 or '88. that VHS tape has since gone missing. i wanted to get an uncensored version of DYRL dubbed in english. well, the search goes on!

    eBay Auction for a DYRL Laser Disc it looks to be a Big West released, English dubbed DYRL... has anyone watched this version before? is it an uncensored Attack of the Bionoids, perhaps?

    thanks for the link lobizon, that's where i first heard of this. but 30 pages of responses (that's well over 1000 posts) dating back from 2009 is way too much too read. anyone know the answers to my questions off hand? thanks!

    yes, i've been out of it for a long time, but there's a Macross F movie? did they do the typical anime studio thing and rehash the series into a 2 hour version or is it an original continuation story? ...and there's a part 2? 1) are they out yet?, if so then... 2) where can we see them w/ a decent english translation? 3) while we're at it, where can we watch Macross Frontier the series w/ a decent english translation? thanks!

    aw man, you're bringing it all back! my memory is a bit rusty, but i also want to see where a whole bunch of other guys went like jung, rob beers from spain, my boy max jenius from alaska... anyone hear from rick the hunter? his disappearance has always been a mystery to me.
