  1. I wouldn't be so quick to praise it yet. Shoulders in fighter are better cause of the larger shoulder caps, so it might be masking the problem. The hip section does indeed seem to hold more closely to the fuselage, but really, so does the yf-19, until it gets loose after a few transformations. And I'm noticing a hideous wing-root problem in fighter mode, as well as the knee caps not locking into place either. Possibly mistransformations, but we'll have to see. One part that is definitely better is the panels that extend up to the head in fighter mode (in front of the shield). The coverage there is much better, so it doesnt leave a giant hole in your fighter.
  2. Looks like the same gullet to the 1/60 YF-19 to me, despite its mistransformation. Also it looks like the stand is obstructing the underside crotch armor piece from fully being moved into place.
  3. While they did have a grav gun to stop projectile attacks, you might still have an issue with explosives detonated outside that range, and I think they are still limited by what speed and size of projectile is fired. I highly doubt that the exosuit would have been able to block the bullet from the 50 cal.
  4. While I would agree with you for the most part, it depends on how you're burning those Yammies. If you're flaunting it like those douches who break game consoles in front of a pre-release lineup, then you're just being an idiot. Sure, the console was paid for fairly, but the malevolent intention was to annoy others. However, to have a private bonfire purely for self benefit would only benefit others, as long as you weren't driving up demand to the point that others had to pay a higher average market price.
  5. DEPLOYABLE CHAINSAW? omg. They gotta make that into an official kit XD Although I prefer the white-red unpainted scheme better than Klans.
  6. I love its dual armor-mounted laser cannons. Those look way more robust than Ozma's ball-turret.
  7. Is that some sort of custom build of the YF-25? Somehow I doubt they'll include the parts for the slotted intakes, and the unslotted hip piece (where the Messiah is) I love their rivets though. And is that Nanase on the very left in the Sheryl outfit? Purple hair. o_o
  8. The collectionDX review above showed the armored battroid on the stand. Seemed okay, although the legs kept flopping down, and couldnt maintain an A stance. They mentioned the crotch lock being stiffer too, but I think the lock design hasn't changed since the initial release; they just got luckier this time with QC.
  9. Okay just remember to take some pics before you throw it at the wall :3
  10. Kinda funny to see him struggle with the neck extension. Also that he can't pronounce messiah. Otherwise, very informative :3
  11. WHAT? A VF-1 AS THE LAST RELEASE NO WAY OMG BANDAI MUST BE TRYING TO LOSE MONEY DSFGSGSG I'm happy with that
  12. Shoulders are getting better, but still not angled up. The gun opens, and that is sweet. Still got my eyes on this.
  13. ... Lol You know I would have probably told him it was a common defect in the YF-19s, and suggest him to resell it to me at cheaper price. Would that make me a jerk or would I just be adopting an innocent toy into a better household?
  14. Oh wow. You're right. I thought he was just kidding too.
  15. Lol. I woulda bought it off him too if he didnt throw it at the wall.
  16. Extreme shoulders make for great battroids?
  17. If say Yamato released a no-gullet YF-19, but it used landing gear detachable plugs... That would still be PT, wouldn't it? It would probably also be the preferable option in the future too. If that was the case, then a 1/60 Bandai VF-19 would probably do better taking that route, and still claim a PT title.
  18. I hope they actually do a female pilot figure for Grace's 27, rather than that reused stock pilot in the 25s.
  19. Hey awesome, new kit. I'm not a big fan of the 27 design though, (at least the 25's were awesome in Armor) so I'll wait for their VF-117 release. Glad they're releasing more molds though, and sooner than the toys, no less!
  20. That Kai looks pretty good. Looks like it's still missing some details though. The wings are also larger and further out than I thought they'd be... Doesn't the Kai have its wingspan reduced relative to the yf-19? Is that parts picture showing the partsforming pieces that fill in the carved thighs and the lower leg slot (that the arms take up in fighter mode)?
  21. Still sounds better than just having the same crappy version every year.
  22. You insert one bullet in one cavity... and the other one... in the other.
  23. I'll buy the dollar-store variant. If it's under a dollar that is. =P
  24. That latex is pretty sweet, but the gold leggings is a little yuck though. Great pose otherwise. Kinda bugs me that she's just 17. And it should bug the rest of you too! >_>
