  1. Even if the VF27 couldn't have been hidden behind the hill. Or maybe it was hidden underground?
  2. Did they paint their faces right this time around?
  3. He meant Sharon (Apple) There is also Gloval on that concert, but for what we know the Minmay portrayed there could be only a fan dressed like her (I doubt she would use the same clothes of 30 years before!)
  4. Wow. It seems the movie will have a much more mature story. This is good.
  5. The Minmay chara sheet in 35 is from Flashback 2012
  6. So, who wanted that spicy 1J image from the pachinko boot?
  7. That's a lot of awfully good animation to waste on a game. I hope there will be a DVD special release (like the one for the 20th anniversary).
  8. Wow, it seems these fictional liner notes are interesting. Anyone is willing to translate them?
  9. 1/48 3 (+ 1 standalone GBP armor, 1 TV Super Pack, 1 DYRL Strike Pack) 1/60 8 (v.1) 4 (v.2) 1 (Mplus) 1 (M0) non-scale GNU 4
  10. I'm mainly interested in stuff I don't have collected in books, so M7 Dynamite and Movie (but also the last bunch of M7 TV episodes that hasn't been covered before, including Encore), M0 and MF. So I'm really interested in * VF-0A Phoenix * Ranka Lee * 33rd Naval Platoon * Roy Focker (M0 version) * Aries Turner * Pedro / Margarita Timeline Sheet * The Destruction of Lux History Sheet * Battle 7, First Transformation World Guide Sheet * Macross Frontier Fleet As for MII, as a fan of the series I fear they are not going to cover it as much as I'd like (I fear we won't see the transformable Mardook battlesuit, or the VFXX). I do hope to see more character sheets of Sylvie and, of course, color spreads of MII destroids, Metal Siren, VFII JA and VFII SS Fast pack
  11. Battroid hands down. But if it wasn't for Mikimoto's character designs, It wouldn't have been the same.
  12. For Hal it's easy: Yas. By the way, I voted Mikimoto because I always loved his art, but I think Ebata is very talented. It's just that in MF her work has been a bit undertoned by the animated. Besides, you should have started this thread a dozen of years from now, when Ebata will have done more works and had the chance to show her talent. It's not fair to compare them now.
  13. That's a lot more than any other Macross series, original and F included.
  14. I wouldn't worry too much. You're just old.
  15. Just to wet your appetite. It must be said that they spent a lot of money for these whole pachinko thing.
  16. Astounding Macross reference in District 9 towards the end of the movie (I know, it's not an anime, but who cares). Won't spoil it for you, see for yourselves (can't miss it)
  17. Unfortunately, no. It's an A page. VF171 gets the VF22 Gamlin (Dynamite) treatment.
  18. Yeah, It's a real mess in battroid. That's what happens when you design a non-transformable VF and, at a later date, you decide that "heck, it MUST transform! What was I thinking?"
  19. I like MII songs much more than Minmei and Shery+Ranka ones, and I also think that II has a great soundtrack. It can't beat Kanno's instrumentals or Fire Bomber's songs, though.
  20. Man, have you ever listened to her other works? Cowboy Bebop's soundtracks are masterpieces. Escaflowne is also really good. But you are somehow right if you refer only to her Macross sountracks. After having listened to Macross Plus, Frontier feels only like a side project (sadly).
  21. News about the connection between Frank Agrama, Harmony Gold and Silvio Berlusconi. La Repubblica on-line
