    I tried to figure out how on Earth the Glossary entries are organized but I haven't been able to fathom it. Can someone shed a light for a poor Japanese-impaired Macross fan like me, please? On a side note, if someone is interested in seeing Macross Chronicle bigger previews before buying it, check this guy's blog (search for Macross entries): Collect 'em all

    I agree, too. despite some things I didn't like, Chronicle is absolutely worth getting, despite the overall price, some omissions and errors. As March said, even if you don't read Japanese (I don't). And if you own most of the old "hardcore fan" Macross books, there are plenty of never before seen linearts and illustrations to justify buing it as an excellent "complete" source. Besides, you'll get most of the previously published b&w material in color!

    Judging from the previews, there's a VF3000 coming in #48. Azrael will be happy to know that the DYRL VF1A has been crammed into one double sheet only (Hikaru, Kakizaki and Max)

    Try ebay store "nippon dodododo". The guy is very helpful and has more or less all the back issues (or will be able to find them for you).

    So this is official? Phisica was indeed so unaware of his surroundings? If the boy calls the "misterious man" dad, things must have gone that way for much more than the brief period of City 7 disappearance. Probably he and his wife were simply divorced.

    And here I thought broken tabs were a thing of the past! Thanks for the visual solution, I'll apply it to my old 1/60 ver.1 VF1S jammy (now in permanent Battroid mode thanks to a broken chest tab).

    Did this collection contain all characters and mecha or just a mix of every section? If they are going to release Macross Chronicle books, I hope they leave out all songs and toys material and maybe add something new covering the movie (and the illustrations from the worldguide, history and tech sheets - I hate those holes in the pictures!!). Back on track, I really don't understand the planning behind the Toys section: we have Yamato MPlus 1/72 but not the 1/48s? The GNU series, 1/250 series, YF/VF22 and VF1 2.0 1/60 lines are incomplete (just to cite a few). Not to mention the CD and game sections. Maybe the companies initially sponsorized this publication and thus wanted their latest products featured a lot, but it seems they are rather tiepid now that chronicle is near the end of its run. Who knows. I liked the toys section as many of the latest CG rendered valks (Nora's and Ivanov's, for example) are much more "visually comprehensible" here than in the lineart section.

    As Seto said. No scans available anywhere (that I know of). The images posted here come either form the MF News site or MF Blog. You can find some slightly larger pictures also on HLJ. Chronicle is absolutely worth the cost, even if it's high.

    "Starbucking" characters is good. On a side note: did Mikimoto end its Gundam Ecole Du Ciel Manga or he is doing two series at the same time? I wish he could devote all his attention to just The First and end the mobile suit thing.

    Mmmm, a mix of Toynami 1/100 and Yamato GNU but much more expensive. I was hoping for something more unique, to be honest. But after 25+ years of VF1, I guess it's difficult to deliver something new.
