Will wait for Ozma's Armour. But might bite on Alto's Super pack, despite really wanting the Tornado set instead...

Yamato 1/60 VF-19 Fire Valkyrie (v2.0)

Awesome shots man. Makes the 19 so badass looking, especially with the sound boosters. I must own this now! -
BOO! HISSSSS!!! I really like the VF-25G. For me, it's really the gun that does it.
-
F yeah, the 25G would look awesome with the glossy plastic! That seems to be the trend with the main heroes. Hikaru, Shin, Alto... they all see to need a good smack or two to set them straight. Seriously Alto, an entire series and two movies before you decide on which chick to go with? Is it really that hard? (that's what she said).
-
I can't wait for the other valks to be announced as well. In the series I really liked Michel since he wasn't a baby and his death was great. The gun for the 25G is sweet and it would be awesome if they somehow incorporated his tow cable.

Bolded. I think you just answered your own question. This is what I think it logically means. Wait list is just the preorders. They probably had a limited number of inventory they could get - or would get - and they sold that out. It does leave the door open for more once Ozma is released if they can get more, but there is no guarantee. I think the v2 VF-25F is probably one of the best valks ever made. So good that I had to own a second.

That grey goggle... if they would just reduce it a little, I would buy it. 10-15%. Buy it. Seriously. It is the best thing Yamato has ever made as far as I am concerned. I paid nearly full price, but it was worth every single dollar. I do not regret it at all. Anymoon.com has a list of what is safe, what isn't. For example, for the longest time the VF-1J wasn't safe, but the latest release is safe, thanks to Yamato's new QC. Here's the list. I've gone by this and have had no problems: http://anymoon.com/b...V2-Table-1A.jpg

I wish the grey goggle version was on sale.

Yamato 1/60 VF-19 Fire Valkyrie (v2.0)

I love the gloss. I know it's not for everyone, but man do I love it. -
Ah, if that is the case, then I apologize. I just naturally assumed since no reference was made with the item in question, and it was posted on this thread, it was for this toy. Anyway, the 20 yen discount is sort of silly, but it is what it is. I honestly don't think there will be any place selling it at a discount from MSRP from now on - unless Bandai does another re-release, that is. Why Amiami chose 20 yen is beyond me though. Maybe they felt it just looked psychologically better than posting 14,000 yen, which is what I believe is the reasoning behind retail stores using the 4.99 price tags. Why not just $5? People are strange. I love this toy though. To me, it is worth full price. But I'm glad I got mine from Amiami at their initial discount.

Looks like the Macross stuff is back up.
-
I still prefer my valks the way I prefer my women: nekkid.
-
Penis gun! Time to blast some aliens in their Vajra faces! haha. Okay, I'll stop now.
-
Woah, that sucks! It's like it is flashing everyone. Who's the seller you bought it from?
-
Probably only a temporary thing. I wouldn't sweat it, unless your order is about to go out and you really need to add something right away, regardless, probably nothing you can do until they restore the items. Their Macross sale was supposed to go until mid Nov, I believe.
-
They put the max quantities per person for every item right on the page... I don't see how it could have been a surprise orders got cancelled when more than one was done... I have no problems with them limiting quantities per buyer. Every other toy line, be it GI Joes, Transformers, etc. has huge problems with scalpers, or army builders getting on early and basically buying up huge quantities of stuff. Not that anyone would really have the money to buy 10 of these things at once, but the point is, if it is limited one per buyer, it is so much easier for the rest of us to at least grab one. Imagine the outrage if people were allowed to buy multiples if they felt like it? Considering the huge discount on this when Amiami first put it up for sale, I have no problems with them doing this. If you think paying nearly full MSRP is crappy now, just wait until these sell out and you have to go to eBay. The prices of the 29 is an excellent example. And I don't think Amiami is losing. These will sell out again in no time. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you get your order in.

In no particular Meh order... Bandai 1/100 VF-1S Hi Metal. Bandai DX YF-29 (I loved it right until I opened it and then it was like, Oh. It's okay I guess...) Bandai v1 VF-25G Yamato 1/60 VF-0S
-
Really tempted to get a Mac Quarter... Would bookend my collection quite nicely opposite my SDF-1
-
I want an Elint. Badly. C'mon Yamato! 30th anniversary release puh-lease! (Yeah right.)
-
The price is a dealbreaker. Plus, I don't have the talent or patience to attempt something like this. Just putting on the plastic bits on the SDF-1 nearly killed me (and my back, bending over the freaking coffeetable). I look forward to seeing it completed! If Yamato ever made a good regult that I didn't have to assemble - doesn't even have to be in scale, since I have no space - I would totally buy it.
-
Yeah, the plastic is still there on mine, all garbled up. That's too bad, but it is what it is. Doesn't really bother me.

Yamato 1/60 VF-17 Nightmare Diamond Force
pud333 replied to charger69's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
This puppy looks awesome. Really like that paint scheme. -
Sal is around 1,480 yen. At least that's what HLJ is charging and Amiami would be around the same. Edit: I keep admiring it. Just such a great job by Bandai.
-
I didn't think there'd be another version. At least for a long, long time - maybe if Yamato finally got a crack at it. That's why I finally broke and got a VF-25G. For a couple weeks I tried to convince myself that it wasn't that bad. But it was. Sold it to someone online. Terrible experiment on my part.

All I can say is: Wow. Now THIS was how this bird was meant to look like. I took the little legless Ranka that came with the VF-27, and popped her in. QC: Overall, my valk is in perfect shape. All joints are tight, no paint chips (or bad paint app in general) that I can really see. Only problem? One tiny part of the plastic where I have circled. The right side is the side that has no problems. The left side, however, you can see where the black paint is missing - that's not a paint chip. That's the actual plastic having been bent and folded down. Looks like someone at the factory used more force than necessary. Really, nothing to cry about since I figure I got lucky that it wasn't worse, and you don't really know unless you are looking for it. Awesome, awesome figure though. Can't wait for Ozma and some freaking armour!
