  1. Yes. The hip bar is much easier now to both put in and take out. Get the 11C. That's what I just did.
  2. I bought a VF-1J from Amiami a few months ago. I had the clear canopy and new hip connection, so it was all good. I know they released new waves of the VF-1J, so I assume HLJ has some of the new ones. Take that for what it's worth. Picked up an 11C last night. About time I had that valk.
  3. From HLJ: 49.3 x 36.6 x 14.3 cm / 1730g. So yes. A few months ago when I got my SDF-1, it came in a giant box along with an MP-10. I don't know about a few 1/60's, but at least one should fit.
  4. Ah, fine print. How I hate thee so.
  5. Too bad I don't want a 22S. All I want right now are some stands and the 11C. Not sure if I should jump on this now, or just wait longer, since I don't quite have the funds right now and I don't like carrying balances on my credit card.
  6. HLJ has another Macross sale on. Anyone from Vancouver BC wanna do a group buy? haha.
  7. For sheer space reasons, if the detail of 1/60 could be capture at 1/72, that would be cool. But now that I've bought so many 1/60 scale valks... I don't want them to switch to 1/72.
  8. I wouldn't worry. HLJ got a nice stock of VF-25Fs right after the initial release, and still had it for the initial discount. I'm sure the same will happen with the 25S.
  9. Thanks a lot derex3592! I'm looking forward to getting my hands on one. You're right though, I should practice on some cheap models first. This should be enough for me to go from for now. Thanks again! EDIT: Any idea where to grab a Fan Racer with pilot? All I see online so far are the ones without Hikaru...
  10. Got my $9 Regult from BBTS. Obviously not in scale, but it looks decent displayed with the valks.
  11. Yeah, I thought that was the point also. The line art is chunky. The 19 looks great.
  12. Now that the super packs are out for this thing, I'm positive there will be a re-release, possibly bundle pack, in 2012. I have no proof, just a hunch.
  13. Better answer: I bought mine from Tokyo-Hunter. Cheaper, and still in stock too. http://tokyo-hunter....tom-renewal-ver
  14. Great pictures. That's one back heavy valk though. It's like a mullet. Business in the front, party in the back.
  15. Yeah, on its own, it's sort of meh. The price itself is like you're buying an extra valkyrie. But for me, the Fire needs the sound booster accessory to really put it over the top. Together, they're awesome, but yeah, on its own, the sound boosters are a bit lacking. Too bad it's so expensive. Much easier for me to drop $250 on a valkyrie, than $100 on an accessory. Thanks. Yeah, the December release is supposed to have the fixes. I'm lucky my ankles are stiff.
  16. Got my VF-19. Wow. Just, wow. I thought when people said this was Yamato's best effort to date, they were exaggerating, but man, were they right! Chunky and solid, this is just pure awesomeness. On its own, the 19 is pretty cool, but the sound boosters really make it! I hate Mac 7, but I can't deny this makes me want to go buy more Mac 7 valks. I must have the Blazer now! Ankles are sturdy and stiff. Absolutely zero QC problems on mine! Worth EVERY penny!
  17. They'd better. I would buy two of those renewals. The VF-27 is my favorite design from Frontier.
