    Oh that is lame. I can't believe they let that go to production like that. It seems like it would be an easy fix for them to add a couple of notches to insert those tabs into.

    I totally want the blue raven's scheme. Sooner see that than another standard yf-19. I like that scheme so much that it's the only reason I've held on the yamato 1/72 toy.

    The season premiere was awful. This show has really gone off the rails. I doubt it will survive this year.

    Yeah eventually. Those dyrl valks are just too played out for me. I'd rather see other vf-1s. Actually i'd rather see anything than a vf-1. It's seriously the worst hi-metal r IMO. The first line i've ever felt that way for the vf-1.

    Wow completely forgot about this. I was on my laptop and show the cdjapan bandai email preview come through. I was like i don't think there is a macross preorder this month. i checked it quickly and saw the 1A. Jumped over to amiami and got 1. Just deciding if this one is worth a second purchase?

    Awesome thanks for the info! Yeah i'm really digging the grey look. The pictures don't do it justice. Wow didn't know entertainment earth sold metal builds. Thats a good deal for you people in the states. Converting to CAD funds and paying crazy shipping makes this not worth it for me otherwise i would've jumped all over it.

    Macross 7's reputation has improved with age, at least with the western fans. & was well enough like at the time it came out by the Japanese audience.

    Just got the BANDAI METAL COMPOSITE G-3 LIMITED RX-78-3 Gundam ver.ka. I'm pretty happy with it even if it's not as good as the origin version. Especially liking the Grey color more than I thought I would. The instructions that came with it seem to be for the RX-78-2 Gundam ver.ka. I realize they are the same mold but it's weird to have color instructions for a different color mecha with all the documents referring it as the RX-78-2. Anyone know if this instruction book came with the figure? I bought this used off of Mandarake. Just wondering if it got swapped by the original owner. Another weird thing is the styrofoam container that it came with. When I got the box, I was surprised by how small the box was compared to the origin version. Especially considering how this comes with the g-fighter. It appears you have to flip the styrofoam over and the g-fighter is situated on the bottom side. Strange as it means I either have to repack the top part with the figure4 and accessories or take them out completely in order to get to the g-fighter without everything falling out.

    There were some mail order shops that had adds in some random sci-for magazine. One magazine (forgot which one) had classified adds in the back. One add was a shop selling Japanese anime and other stuff of course with no subs. And unfortunately Japanese prices ( like $100 for a VHS tape). I had to mail them for a catalogue for like a buck or two. Waited a month and got a 5 page printout single spaced of their list of tapes. The list only had the name of the show and price - no description or picture. Even though the titles alone were fascinating to me at the time. They all sounded cool. Never did buy from him but The "catalogue" did end useful as a resource to look up anime.

    No there's definitely a metal build 0 gundam. I've watched reviews and seen them at mandarake. I'm guessing they were a limited release of some kind.

    Awesome. Glad you were able to snag one. I'm hoping a used one comes up one day for a somewhat reasonable price.

    I forgot why I originally came to this thread. This is probably stupid to ask now but is there a Ko of the 0 Gundam?I just watched some YouTube reviews and it looks sweet. Better than I remember it looking in the anime. I want it one but there's no chance I'll be able to snag a official release due to the ridiculously stupid prices I've seen for it.
