Got Ohta in the cockpit. Like the detail in there and the moving levers. But when I push him up so his head is peaking out there is no click into place. The whole chair assembly keeps sliding back down. I want to put something under the chair to prop it up, but the lower door hinge needs that space when closing. And hate the neck pistons now. Any movement and the ends can fall into the drivers area, showing you they are non-working, floppy fakes. And the leather-like flaps there have a serious curl and will not fall nicely and cooperate. Articulated fingers too loose. Right ankle guard popped off again. Materials and sculpt are simply incredible though - don't want to sound too much like a negative nelly...

HELP! You Yamato Ingram owners! Finally got my mitts on the scarce Unit 2 - stunned at the opening, so many good things to say. But I have to have my fears calmed about a few issues first but I can enjoy myself here. ANKLES? Too LOOSE! Why aren't they CLICKY or tight or better?!? Can these be tightened? Can I just pull the foot off? I'm pretty afraid of trying without checking around first. And the inner calves - why does it seem like they want to pop out like the outer parts? Mine are too loose, thus making the ankle guard shin guard thing almost come off. And while still on the ankles, I looked for a place to attach the pistons and there are none - right? These just dangle? I don't mind the neck ones dangling, but I do not like these ankles on this guy at all so far. It is a stunning piece - stunning, but I'm a little put off right now...

THAT is one of my top 5 movies of all time. I recommend it to people and that look at me very strangely... As for the Beast Build Up - I N C R E D I B L E ! Put a 1/60 VF-1 V2 in the next shot for scale !

Understood - sounds good...

For anyone who wanted a Megahouse Yellow but could not find one, this person seems to have several. You should be able to get one for around $60-$70. I've seen them go for as much as $130. http://www.ebay.com/itm/330862617728?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

If you're doing resin kits, and you want to put a metal pin between the major pieces - what's good for that? It should be barely bendable correct? So you can drill the hole in each part, then put them together, bend it into exact position and super glue in place?

Hopefully M&M valks and TV Super Parts. Phalanx Kit or full Toy. VF Lighting Flashback Version...

Wonder if you could get away with 1/12 for the Fuke and could display it next to a 1/10 beagle. Since its the female issue armor maybe it was more petite!

VOTE AGAIN for SOC Dangaioh! A Studio Halfeye version finally came up on Yahoo Japan and it went for $1,000 - yikes ( ! )
-
Yep - that was my vote: SOC Dangaioh Although I do not have a SOC item, the Bandai SPEC line has impressed me immensely with its quality. A transforming super-hi quality Dangaioh with lots of metal would be sweet. Twice the size of the SPEC line. LeChuck said above Dragonar - 'non stylized'? LC - if you do not have have the new D1 and Falguen SPECs get those - they are INCREDIBLE! As for a few others mentioned -- Robot Spirits just came out with dandy looking Dunbine and Billbine - so that dream is answered. And RS had a L-Gaim Mark I to go with the Mark II. And Bandai SPEC also has a Mark I. As for Galient, this is my favorite collectable still, and it has some pretty fierce competition: http://www.ebay.com/...=item27cd7ea4e7 It is a 'dream mech' - it has been made, as well as a mech can ever be made I think. Here it is next to my Max factory Dragonar for scale...

If anyone is short on budget and wants to go in together, I just want the effects. We could split the cost and you keep the figure! Probably will not get any takers on that though...

Is My Little Pony getting more responses these days than mecha stuff?? ARG Anyway - that massive samurai badguy mech featured in that Dragonar clip was proto-typed by Bandai. The Gilgazamune! Not sure I would have bought it, but maybe -- given the high quality of the SPEC line. What a strange design. But its looking almost certain Bandai will not ever make this guy now...

Not sure, but if that's what is HAS to be than I'll take it. As I've said before, if they want to sell oodles all they have to do is mold a simple 2 part hanger chain-base to sell with the Spartan and Phalanx. Something that when put together gives you about a 12" deep by 36" wide area to display your Yamato goodies. Hopefully this will be announced at the next WF...

Somebody get this! She's wondering where her Beagle ride-armor is! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Robotech-New-Generation-Macross-Genesis-Climber-Mospeada-Rook-anime-cel-/181062974117?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a2831baa5

NICE! You will enjoy these. Hope you detail up the Brutish. I have not yet but I really enjoy seeing that done. The Fyana figure is one of the nicest I have ever seen, hence the price often listed for her. Post some pics when you get them...

That poster is where Toynami got the size of their feet!

Excellent display, so clean. It just begs to be walked over to and looked at more closely. IMO, when you keep space between each piece it makes them look more important, and more interesting. The human eye is not strained to decipher where one mecha starts and the other stops. ESPECIALLY for non-macross or scifi fans who do not know the designs like we do. If you get more kits get another display...

But back to Falguen - took a fresh look at this piece today and my admiration has not faded. Amazed. What an excellent effort. Even if you are not a Dragonar fan, if you ever see this below, say $80, pick it up. I have not seen much of the series but I enjoyed this crazy mecha action clip on youtube. You get to see Falguen join forces with the good guys against a giant Samurai mech! The giant bad guy fires an enormous purple missile from its crotch - Pffft... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svQkvmQAzBo 80s anime goodness. If only Masami Obari would have had mecha design control from the beginning in this series, rather than just be in charge of animating the opening...
