this is what i want to know! the more i look at this DYRL Roy Focker Skull-1 LV VF-1S whatever, the more i think that the color is actually nearer the lighter gray of the 1/48 Stealth than the color of the 1/48 LV1... would be cool if they packaged this w/ matching FPs and a diff colored gunpod...

looks like the neck piece where the head attaches is the same brown color as the feet and intake covers.

yep... but also easier to inadvertently make them fall off... the 1/60's are nice and tight, putting them on is not a prob., but i take it real easy when taking them off. tilt forward when removing... i do understand your fear, coz when putting on the missiles on the wings' hardpoints you do hear a very audible "snap"... but what really gets me worried and looking for some cracked or broken plastic is whenever i fit the leg FPs.

...i'm surprised they're doing all this before the M&M v.2 VF-1Js...

any rumors if these 19 repaints will have a limited production run just like the VF-22 (waiting for confirmation)? coz i highly doubt there'll be 1000 guys out there who'll buy both these repaints...

photon beam is badass!... seems like Dr. Hell and Mistress Tsubasa Nishikiori have some kind of history... that's for the next ep. if you like this new Mazinger anime series (and in case you haven't watched it yet)... you should check out the Mazinkaiser OVAs... my fave is ep.4

nice story... thanks for sharing that... yeah, "scarcity", i get that... granted that business IS business, and w/ toys it doesn't really sound too evil ... but say we change the "3 Bome figures" w/ "3M++++ barrels of oil"... and thus here we are... LOL yeah, pretty much the same here...

just throwing this out there... i'm just wondering, what people's opinions are on this so-called "collector's value" of their toys? is this appropriate only for MISB collections? what of collectors who open their toys and have no plans on selling any of their stuff for whatever reason? do people really constantly think about the value of their collection as if they're going to sell it the next day? i do admit to doing this a good while back, but i always remember somebody who said that it doesn't feel like a hobby (w/c is supposed to be fun) when you always think about what you've spent and what the value of your collection currently is... 2¢

this is the best i could do... the left hand can't really reach the underside of the gunpod when pointed straight forward and if you point the gunpod to the left the strike cannon can't point in the same direction (i wish they made the Stike cannon so it could swiver l-r...)
