    Vf-0 vs SV-51

If the SV-51 is the Ivanov variant you may want to stay away from it, remeber it is the case of the yamato's russian roulette. Reissued Vf-0S (I own one) is a really good toy.
  3. More or less. WIP yet. It is the first time I do this.
  4. Oh boy, oh boy. I wanted to see this finished and damn, it is wonderful! My favorite shot.
  5. It is much like dried white glue. Kinda flexible and brittle. Mine have some in the shoulders too, but it peels really easy.
  6. Transformed my 2nd 4G from NY all smooth and nice . Just the cockpit was a little hard to push down the first time. And just noticed after some manipulation that some material is coming out from the ball joints on the thighs on my first one from HLJ. What is it? It does not seems to affect the strength of the articulation.
  7. Seems that NY is a QC issues magnet -lost leg cover -lost fin -broken arm what's next?
  8. Oh yea! Picked up my 2nd from the post office this morning . From NY I hope this one comes with no QC issues too .
  9. If some one can provide a bigger picture I can trace it using Illustrator. Easier IMO.
  10. Sounds to me like a Bandai fault. I'm mean, even the 4G didn't sold out that quickly.
  11. Back on HLJ after being displayed as discontinued for some time http://www.hlj.com/product/YMT00240
  12. Review for anymoon? Got mine already but I like read your reviews
  13. So far a missing leg cover and a missing fin. That sucks. I have some photos of the chin problem. First I dented mine. Don't look so bad. Only if you really close-up. Here you can see where the chin touches the grey plate close to the neck. The head can go downwards crushing the chin because there is no lock to prevent it. Here from an other angle. And this is what you should avoid. When pulling up the grey part (red arrow) make sure the end point of the head is not pushing too hard against the fuselage because this will make all the head to push downwards on the chin and the chin will be forced against the grey plate on the bottom and there is nothing to stop the head and the chin will be crushed. What I would do is grab all the metal piece under the head with the thumb and the index finger and then pull up the cover while watching to the end of the head and the space between the chin and the plate on the bottom. Also be careful you can scratch the visor whit the grey plastic piece (cover, I guess) if the head is no in correct position.
  14. Ok, just transformed my VF-4 all nice and smooth. WORD OF WARNING for those who have not transformed it yet. Just found how the chin gets damaged and almost screwed mine. When taking out the head assembly from the fuselage you need to be very careful. The chin gets damaged because it hits the plate some where near the neck. Hard to explain in words maybe some pictures will help. Will work on that ASAP.
  15. Touch down!!! Picked it up form the post office this afternoon. This damn bird is AWESOME, no QC issues so far, although, not transformed it yet. I'm sooooo glad I managed to get a 2nd that should be here next week.
  16. That's exactly the same idea I had. But my damn postal service is taking too long to deliver my VF-4 . Should here today though
  17. That sucks customs must be loaded with a ton of job. Mine finally came and cleared customs in 4 hrs.
  18. Don't know if this is place to post this or even if it is old news, but this just %&@ blow out my mind! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5yWSmbpxQ64
