What is the tail number on Alto's VF-171? His VF-25F is "007". I wonder if that will be different because it is not SMS assigned.

So in the news lately, James Cameron (director of Aliens) is forming a space mining company, Planetary Resources, to get precious minerals from asteroids. http://news.yahoo.com/asteroid-mining-venture-backed-google-execs-james-cameron-011205183.html Somehow, this project will be all fine and dandy until they land on LV-426. -
Those old Arii Glaug kits are a pain. It took a lot of time and careful planning to get my 1:100 and 1:72 versions into decent models. Too many gaps and mismatched parts to deal with.

So Lamborghini marketing concluded that their customers wanted: - More ground clearance to avoid rocks. - A larger approach and departure angle for hill climbs. - More fording depth for water crossings. - More doors for access to camping gear and mountain bike. - Second row seating for the children and pets. Really???

For a moment, I thought Asemu said "Double OO" instead of Double Bullet Gundam. The GN Raiser Beam Saber-ish blades did not help the confusion either.

Just got Alto's VF-25F. Had it setup to the Galia 4 Ranka+Alto seating configuration. The flight over Galia's endless sky was a perfect demonstration of the gracefulness of the VF-25 design. Well, that is until the D-Pulse ruined the mood. Here are some pix of the setup.

I liked Chrome Shelled Regios, even though it has a pretty generic storyline. But Layfon pretending to be a laid back student just did not go as planned. Later episodes are pretty good when some things get explained, but not everything. -
I am neutral on Mac7. But the battle scenes are a bit silly and footages repeated too many times. It felt like spam at that point. On the opposite side of the spectrum, Macross Zero has the best combat scenes of the Macross series. Your jaw drops to the floor when Roy's VF-0S first swoops over Shin and Sara and switches to battloid mode. You are like..."F****n awesome!"

I did not know there was a paint issue with Ozma's VF-25S in the renewal series. The paint on the renewal version seem better than my original 1.0 valk. Since I rarely transform these valks, paint coming off might not be much of an issue.

But Mu La Flaga came back from the dead after getting blasted head on trying to shield Archangel in Gundam Seed. So anything is possible.

There were so many foreshadowing of that event that a pineapple salad was not even needed. But sometimes, the writters mess with the audience by putting foresshadowing clues but the death never occurred. Ozma survived that.

I wonder if Bandai will make the VF-171 Elintseeker version that Luca and NUNS used? That should be the next logical step.

New Viper looks good in a Ferrari FF kinda way in the front. But those LED driving lights should be stacked a bit more simplier than large L shapes. More car manufacturers are using LED driving lights in more complicated shapes and layouts. It would not be too long before the lights form words or logos on the hood of cars.

How did an HLJ sale topic discussion get hijacked into a Mac7 one? Haha... Macross 7 targeted a younger audience and the story did not pick up until Episode 21 or around there. Macross Plus debuted around the same period but it targeted an older crowd with a story that is more serious and mature. Also the action sequences in Mac Plus were more intense and complicated. So the Macross franchise covered all age groups using two separate Macross series in the mid 1990s. Either way, we got to see how differently Dyson and Basara handled the same model VF-19 in combat.
