  1. I already have the grey goggled version so I'd probably only buy this if it comes with the launch-effect parts. Now if they released a yellow-tipped missile DYRL version I'd buy that for sure! Or even better, gift sets based on the Nichimo kits!
  2. Armor color aside, the DYRL variant has yellow tipped missiles. This one has red.
  3. I think the V2 fast-pack brackets were implemented to avoid the infamous 1/48 BP8 (backpack/tail hinge) breakage issue.
  4. I think that this is pretty much business as usual on MacrossWorld
  5. Am I the only one not at all bothered by having to add the brace to battroid mode? I display my valks in a glass case, brace or no brace really makes no difference to me.
  6. Yeah, and I'm sure they'll say "OK, whatever works best for you." On another note, hopefully this is fixed now.
  7. "Macrossworld: panicking since 2002"
  8. That's been around since VF-25f release. It was for a clear, round stand to set the included Alto Ex-Gear fig on.
  9. I found this scan of the sticker sheet. It looks like it might be from the regular version (I have one, but it's packed away so I can't check at the moment) (source: http://eyeforthings.wordpress.com/2010/10/01/bandais-dx-chogokin-robot-damashii-vb-6-konig-monster/ ) The person said they removed the eyes already. The third scan from the directions from the link above also show multiple nose art options.
  10. Actually, I think with the special edition version you could choose between the Devil Sheryl or that Ranka, or the the white eyes.
  11. Just to clarify, there really is no "plain nose" version for the Bandai VB-6. The one without character art comes with the mouth printed on. The Yamato version is completely plain though.
  12. I'm glad someone said this. The whole time people were calling it yellow I thought I was going color blind because it still looked orange to me.
  13. Same thing happened to me. I just hope they know which is which when they box up my order!
  14. the Sun/Mon release times are usually for general release I believe. I don't think the same applies to Webshop Exclusives.
  15. Savior: rescuer: somebody who rescues somebody or something from harm or danger Which is why I said saving humans was a result of his actions, whether intentional or not. Killing bugs = saving humans from annihilation.
  16. I didn't say Godzilla was a friend to mankind. I said savior. Which was the direct result of his indirect actions. While the insects might have been his prey, he certainly wasn't hunting them for food. More like Godzilla was a planet guardian that was out to destroy the bugs to maintain some sort of balance. Which is why I mentioned Gamera. Because in the Heisei Gamera trilogy, his relationship with the other monsters was similar. Especially the relationship between Gamera and Gyaos.
  17. I saw the movie, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. As a longtime Godzilla fan, I do still prefer the Heisei and Millennium era's where Godzilla was a destructive force and enemy to mankind and not so much the savior. I found myself feeling like I was watching a Godzilla movie with a somewhat Gamera-like plot. The effects were top notch and I enjoyed the story and the action. Godzilla's features/shape were a bit hard to get used to at first. But I imagine the people responsible for his design were trying to create a creature that, if it actually existed, would have the features something of such immense size would need in order to exist and be mobile. Such as elephant feet and a very bulky structure.
  18. I'd love a torrent for the Blu-Ray EP 4 video (in HD quality) with the Manga audio is anyone knows of one. (Please PM me if you do) I own legitimate copies of both the blu ray and manga sets, so I'm not trying to pirate anything.
  19. This is going to seem like a far off topic, but with all the custom Valkyrie paintjobs we’ve seen throughout the various series, books and other media, I can’t help but wonder, in the Macross Universe, who does all the painting? Every time some hero pilot blows off his custom fast-packs into space, or some special squadron loses a Battroid arm, or dings a leg, some poor b*stard has to mix up the paint, break out the paint gun and get to work. And where does all this paint come from? Do the bases and carrier-type ships have special sections set aside for paint storage? Paint tech: “I’m going to go grab the Millia red 342 from storage so I can give her Valk a touch-up!” I know, dumb topic, but that doesn’t make me any less curious as to how it might work.
  20. Hopefully, this will come with extra triangle parts to fix the VF-171! Hahahahahahahahahahaha...riiiiiiight.....
  21. Interesting, my HLJ invoice says: "YF-28 Durandal Valkyrie Ozuma Type" I can't wait to get it so I can see what a YF-28 Ozuma looks like
  22. By your standards perhaps, but not the rest of the world. After ordering from Amazon.com, I get emails saying the item has shipped, however that doesn't necessarily mean it's in the delivery companies hands. Same for Ebay. After a label is paid for and generated, the buyer gets an email even if I actually haven't physically handed it to the postperson.
  23. I print a lot of postage online. This basically means a label has been generated and NY is just waiting for FedEx to accept the package. Which will happen when FedEx picks it up, or when NY drops it off at a FedEx location.
