  1. Never at 50%. The last time it went up til 45%. 50% is the record now, as far as the V2s are concerned.
  2. Actually more likely last day of the month
  3. Picked up a TV 1S too... figured the option parts that come with the 2012 release just ain't worth that much for me to spend that much more just to have them.
  4. I have only heard it to be a hybrid kit... as in ABS + HDP(or resin) kit. However,it is a good marketing move to clear the existing stocks on the market for the other 2 destroids. Imagine needing the 2 existing ones to complete the 3rd one. Stocks for the remaining Defenders and Tomahawks will be gone in a flash!
  5. RIP. Thank you for directing the original series that started it all.
  6. Nope, because it uses HDP and production was very limited,, the price of that is IIRC, about USD 2500
  7. Thanks bro! Really was lucky! Now I am assured I would get at least 1 copy. So for those out there still Trying to get one, use the browser add-ons (mentioned in the last couple of pages) to help notify you once a website updates/ changes. It helped like in my case.
  8. I managed to get the pre-order in. As soon as I got the order, went back to the product page, and "order stop". It is quite possible that someone has either reduced or cancelled the order, as pointed out earlier
  9. Actually I thought the VF-1D should have its own thread rather than the options parts thread. This is clearer and does not confuse people are are not on the boards that often
  10. If I ordered through HLJ, this is gonna be my 4th Preorder , each from different sources. Hah.... i dunno, maybe in July, everybody who ordered multiples across sources will be selling the extras, and that could have downward pressure on the prices... lol~! If that happens, I'll blame Bandai again.
  11. Because only Bandai has this big problem when it comes to pre-orders. Anyway, like i've said before, it looks to be more of a marketing play to artificially create the reputation of Bandai stuff being highly sought after/ blink and you lose type of stuff to guarantee buyers will jump on everything they put out, even people who normally have no interest in their stuff. Ultimately they are feeding existing scalpers and creating new ones when people realize they can re-sell what they have for a tidy sum. Not too healthy if you ask me. The only people who really stand to gain are those who were lucky enough/ have insider connections/ unethical retailers.
  12. It's a hero valk. Hero valks sell way better than CF versions and enemy mecha, regardless of color
  13. Congratulations Major Focker, on your find. Makes me want to kick myself in the butt for not going to the very place you mentioned yesterday. These things are getting incredibly hard to find.
  14. Likewise... no choice.... gotta bite the bullet.
  15. It is now just after 6pm in Japan and past or near the knock off time for work. Just FYI for those who are thinking of refreshing through the evening.
  16. That's what I've been doing all afternoon here... F5F5F5F5F5F5F5F5F5F5F5F5.........
  17. Amazing.... the mkting guys at bandai are really something... they limit the supply of the toy and thus artificially build up hype and create the perception the the toy and by extension the rest of the toyline are really desirable and very hard to get.... then the reputation that Bandai's toys are "blink and you miss it" type. Keep the reputation and every single release in future will be sell out and no need to languish on the shelfs.
  18. Hopefully this one more or less a place holder til they have the numbers they are putting up for pre-order...hopefully... I mean, these things aren't even produced yet!
  19. A must buy for me, including all the variants they put out for this.... unless they pull the "exclusive" stunt again
