That's a cool modified 19

I agree with you on that, racing smoothly is so much better than skidding and bouncing off barriers, as is beating friends who think having a fast is all they need to win, which definately wouldn't work on the New York track

1/48s are a great addition to a Macross fans collection. I have a Max without packs and am expecting my Hikaru 1J with packs this week

Jazz/Meister looks rather nice. I'll be adding that to my collection -

Nope, not that. The version that's been released here in europe comes with a dvd that has art, videos and other stuff related to the making to GT4 Winkle: It's half the price of a full title like GT Concept was. Cost me £25, well £10 because I was part exchanging a game

FINALLY. nothing is more frustraiting that mastering a corse, car, corners, settings, only to race friends who ride the barriers and T-bone me and then claim i don't know how to play right. i'm happy with this addition. question though, can it be turned off? No it can't be turned off. In my opinion even if it could, the game is better off with it on Solscud and Vostok: You guys have the japanese version huh? I wonder what the differences between the 2 versions are? Does it come the the extra dvd as well?

Yesterday I bought Gran Turismo 4 'Prologue' - European Signature Edition. I played a bit of it and thought I'd give a little review on it Essentially the purpose of Prologue is to prepare you for the full game, which in my opinion is a good idea since the new physics are much more realistic than in GT3. I consider myself to be a bit of a GT "veteran" having owned all previous GT titles and I'm finding handing the cars harder than before so I don't know how a "newbie" would find it. Anyway, on to the game features itself: The main mode for the game is "Driving School" This consists of 25 lessons of basic race driving techniques. Each lesson is introduced with a demo and audio runthrough to give you info on the lesson objective and how to pass. If you successfully pass, you move onto the next lesson and win the car used for the lesson that you've passed. The lesson vary into 4 gradients of difficulty - Green, Orange, Blue and Red. The green are very straight forward, so of course reds are challenging. Also, there are 3 "coffee breaks" after each third of the course where you can compete in a fun challenge, although knocking over traffic cones isn't too much fun in my opinion The true fun comes with what no GT game is without; Arcade Mode. There are 5 tracks that will appear in the full game, including New York and the Grand Canyon. Car AI still isn't very good but tougher to pass than the GT3 AI. New to the arcade mode races is a penalty system which slows you down to 50 km/h for 10 seconds if you hit a barrier or another car too hard, if that happens at the wrong point, you'll ending up losing the race so wreckless driving is now out of the question. Overall it gives a good taster of what the full games races will be like Now comes what the game is about, the cars. Quite simply, they've never looked better. All cars are beautifully rendered and almost look like the real thing in the replays and due to the new physics, all the cars more or less handle like their real-life counterparts Now, after that is my only gripe. The game is simply too short. I've complested the basic course in about and hour and a half. A new purple difficulty section is unlockable after the basics are passed but I doubt that'll take too long to complete Final Opinion: GT4 Prologue is a good game and does what's its supposed to do well. There's also a bonus "making of GT4" dvd with the game that I've yet to watch but I reckon it'll be good. Unfortunately to the low gamespan stops it from being great Score: 7/10

Production F-35 too heavy to take off vertically
Valkyrie Nut replied to David Hingtgen's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Oh come on...isn't the Pound stronger than the Dollar?? Have they named the carriers yet? My vote goes to HMS Beckham and HMS Posh Spice. It may be stronger, but we still have far from sufficent funds for large carriers. Perhaps in 10 - 15 years but not right now. No they have not been named and they will definately not be called by those names unless the objective is for the enemy to take the piss -

Erm, I don't think we should have to make new larger aircraft carriers just because the the F-35 is a lardarse. We can't afford to run a fleet of huge carriers like America has, we're not made of money! However, there are a couple of new slightly larger carriers in the works and rumor has it that there are also plans for the first British supercarrier but until then Lockheed Martin will just have to a) make the fat git lighter or b) give it a more powerful engine -
To have the 19 and not pull an Isamu is committing a sin against the aircraft I did the same when I first downloaded it. Managed to make a circus tent-like shape

Supersylph Yukikaze for FS2002
Valkyrie Nut replied to Valkyrie Nut's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I noticed that so the realism settings are on easy (aka "anime physics") when flying it. I'm also hoping for Mave version of the Yukikaze, I may e-mail the creator of the Supersylph to ask if one is in the works -

Supersylph Yukikaze for FS2002

That sucks, an unfortunate factor is that most aircraft made for FS2002 don't seem to work properly on FS2004 I just hope the guy who made it does a Mave version -
Today when browsing through Flightsim's file library for sci-fi planes I made an interesting discovery, which, was a flying model of the Yukikaze. It's been around for nearly a year (I hadn't found it before because I haven't used the flightsim site in about a year ) Nicely detailed with opening cockpit and the the large recon fin extends when the gear is retracted like it should do. The handling of the aircraft itself is great, allowing you to pull off good dogfight manoveres like in the anime. I'm just wondering if anyone else here who uses MS Flight Sim has flown it other than me

Ken's a girl? And she looks like she got her boobies clamped....... Ken is a Girl, and if you mess around on one of the levels enough, she loses the flight suit.... Ah yes after you've deleted the Viola AI and let Ardjet get too close to the Lava I love that bit XP -
Fortunately I don't bother with dubs so I can say I love Azumanga Daioh
