  1. is it the photo or is that a slightly lighter shade of blue than the 1/60 VF-19S?
  2. The Defender is awsome weathered, much nicer shade than unweathered version which is too bright! Now the weathered Tomahawk just has too any weathering lines in my opinion, but it ends up looking sloppy... The OD weathered Tomahawk looks much better! Maybe I am just afraid to have 4 Tomahawks!
  3. I started with a tomahawk then got the regular defender, and now I have 3 of each! The only ones I don't have are the khaki defender and weathered tomahawk(which I find too dirt looking). They have great articulation and detail. But I've fixed more than one midsection swivel because they can be loose! And I am looking forward to one ore two phalanx kits! Fun with destroids! Growing up the matchbox destroids were easy to find on the shelves, unlike the VF-1 toys in the US... (null)
  4. I wouldn't say no to an improved version of the current designs for the 21&22! PS: anyone still have any of the vf-22s heatshield for sale, or willing to cast a new batch for the recent VF-22 sales??? (null)
  5. I would hope for a secondary release with optional parts:-) now the regult hdp kit came in black, should we expect this kit to start as black, white, or tan shades?? I'll want tan and cavalier-esque blue!
  6. How to create a Weathered Phalanx... :-). Don't worry, you can always use the extra destroids for a Daetalus Attack display! Usagiz
  7. Don't make me post a pic of how two destroids would make a Phalanx! It was never confirmed by Yamato what the final form of this release... We've only heard that it would be a partial kit... I bet they'll package legs like the build your own VF-1 kits Now seriously Yamato, I want a lighter and dark blue kits, pretty please!
  8. Wow, I didn't realize it had a split eye camera similar to the VF-5000 two seater from zolan patrol, it's nice to finally see a close up of the battroid! Now one more reason to like it! From the anime I thought it was just a streamlined version of the VF-17D head... (null)
  9. Yep, get the 22s, I really enjoy all 3 and my new yf-21! Only real complaint is the rear landing gear fold in too easy if you happen to move it... (null)
  10. I gave into temptation and popped on a weathered defender destroid... Now I dare yamato to give the phalanx kit a a set of legs!
  11. It's on!?! http://www.hlj.com/product/YMT00230 http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=TOY-RBT-2309&page=top (null)
  12. Well since you asked, and these just popped back up on HLJ, armored 1As... http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljlist?Word=1%2F55+Origin+of+Valkyrie&x=0&y=0&Dae=All&Series=All&Dis=2
  13. http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=BAN14295&mode=retail BBTS preorder up, 209.99... wish I had held out now!
  14. I got this one for Christmas, its ALL good, updated shoulder hinges, leg locking, clear canopy!
  15. I only had to look at the Manual once, and that was because the chest wasn't budging when I was pulling it, until POP it was up! I was surprised how easy it was to transform back to fighter mode, the panels are great and I am impressed by the engineering that went into the VF-17S! But I was extra careful with the hips after seeing the pictures of the broken hip above!
  16. HLJ SAL to Seattle tends to take about 2 weeks... I don't remember it ever taking longer than that. (null)
  17. Successfully converted to Battloid! The VF-17s is TIGHT! I can totally see parts breaking if you are not careful! I love the diecast content as well as all of the sliding panels. But this is now my favorite valk!! (null)
  18. Not losing the one cannon that fell on the carpet, after crawling around for a couple minutes trying to find it, priceless! In all honesty, I am impressed to see the diecast piece that the cannon connects to! I still think its worth every penny! Now step it up Yamato, where is my VF-4 preorder??! (null)
  19. Got my VF-17S, open up the box, one cannon was found rattling around inside the shoulder, the second cannon slid off in gerwalk mode! And yet it's now my favorite valk even though I get scared just turning the tight upper leg joints. Now to glue on the cannons before they get lost!! (null)
  20. Awesome pics and review, I cant wait until mine arrives! Just out of curiosity, does the VF-17 appear to be able to mount a fold booster, or is that likely to be something the armor parts would include? (null)
  21. This one is inaccurate for the VF-4, Check post #85 for the correct length comparison, the vf-4g (14.9)is not as long as the VF-11(15.51m) and is just about as wide as a VF-1 with wings fully extended(14.78m)... http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=27610&st=70 Was it me or did the PSone have a VF-4G in it where the battroid fired from its shoulders, VF-X maybe? I am seriously praying for a pricetag under 18800Yen... After the VF-4, Yamato, please make a VF-5000 to go with the rest of the M7 Dynamite valks in 2013 or beyond!
  22. HLJ now has all 3 kits up for preorder! must resist temptation!
  23. I do wonder what colors bandai would use, I do remember both tan and that washed out green in space, so they can have TRU exclusive tan and Tamashii light green! once more in warmaker tan
  24. While we are photshoppin Mikhail, dont forget the CF, someday this'll probably be an exclusive too, someday... original image not mine...
