If the VF1s are as big as the previous GNU series, then they are approximately 1/100 in scale, as my VF11/YF19 & 21 are as tall as Toynami VF1 and Bandai 1/100 VF1S model kit. I must confess I wasn't a great fan of the GNUs and (yes) they are too frakking expensive for what you get and are not as poseable as the Revoltechs (other favourites of mine). Despite this, I cannot but love them. They are always on display on my desk.

Because 1/60 2.0 in Battroid sucks mightly ? Jokes, aside, this toy looks absolutely gorgeous. My other GNUs, despite my first impression, are the most "on-display/on play" valks I've probably ever owned, along with revoltechs.

Probably in the movie we'll discover that Alto is a girl for real. Or maybe Ranka will grow antennas, wings and a cannon on her back. Or maybe Bobby will disguise himself as Sheryl. That would complicate things a bit, I guess.

Maybe this is true for American dubs. Fortunately, in Italy we have a long tradition of high-quality dubbing actors that make dubbed animes and cartoons much more enjoyable than subtitled ones. Macross (we were the first country in the world to have it dubbed) is one such example. I've listened to the ADV dub and, unfortunately, I have to agree with you. It's a huge step back from Robotech.

Awmygawd, no! You were just kidding, right? Besides, Mikimoto doing the official Macross TV adaptation is one of my dreams fulfilled and the best thing that could happen to the Macross franchise. A question for those of you who own the comic: is Mikimoto also writing Macross The First or is there another writer?
