  1. I love the revoltechs but have also prordered Yamato's GN-U YF-19 and VF11. I'd like to know, however (as it appears you have seen them) if they are taller than a revoltech and what scale they are. Thanks!
  2. From Revoltech main page
  3. Uh, my bad. I had completely forgotten the ending of part 1 (my memories of TV episode 1 tricked me) and thought this was something different. Anyway, thanks for the scans!
  4. Uh, I'm at a loss here. The pages just scanned... do they belong to the Macross F Shonen Ace manga episode 2?
  5. What's the 1995 event (in the Macross timeline) everyone keeps referring to? Can someone explain?
  6. Uh? Am I missing something here? Waht are these "uncut" episodes you mentioned?
  7. Because Kawamori is evil . I also long for some bad ass Destroid action! Yep, they were there (M7 ep.15), but only as "attractions". It is unclear if they are no longer used in combat and have still some utility as "labour" machines.
  8. Good catch! I had to screencap witm WMplayer, and it wasn't at all easy. As for Macross references, did anyone notice the VF1 on the school "bridge" and as school logo? (if it was already posted, please forgive me, but after the Christmas dinner I feel sooooo lazy ). And there are definitely Macross Class (maybe transformable) ships in the fleet (see first thumbnail, top right). By seeing how small it seems this macross class ship, it appears that the city itself is sooo much bigger if compared to City 7 from Macross 7 (that, if you remember, had many skyscrapers and buildings that were "outside" the dome).
  9. I took several screenshots from the "raw" version (I was able to find a 600mb version) and tried to decipher the various names, sometimes enlarging the shots, but it wasn't easy!
  10. Oops, had it already been written elsewhere? It seems also Macross 08 left from Eden, or were my eyes deceiving me? Thanks, anyway
  11. I tried to catch as many info from the "migration" part of episode 1. Here is what I was able to gather. Fleets departing from Earth starting from 2012 (note that Megaroads have a different background image than New Macross class fleets and different designations): (counterclockwise) - megaroad 01 SDF002 (Super Dimension Fortress) - megaroad 02 SDF003 - megaroad 04 SDF005 - m-frontier NEW025 (New Macross Class Aircraft Carrier) - macross 05 - macross 07 - megaroad 13 SDF014 - macross 01 - megaroad 06 SDF007 - macross 03 - megaroad 09 SDF010 Fleets departing from Eden starting from 2013 (in no particular order) - m-galaxy NEW021 - macross 08 - macross 17 - macross 09 - macross 15 - macross 23 - macross 20 - macross 19? - macross ?? - macross ?? To sum things up, these are all the fleets departed from either Earth or Eden that we know of: - megaroad 01 SDF002 (Super Dimension Fortress) - megaroad 02 SDF003 - megaroad 04 SDF005 - megaroad 06 SDF007 - megaroad 09 SDF010 - megaroad 13 SDF014 - macross 01 - macross 03 - macross 05 - macross 07 - macross 08 - macross 09 - macross 15 - macross 17 - macross 19? - macross 20 - m-galaxy (macross 21) - macross 23 - m-frontier (macross 25) - macross ?? - macross ?? In a brief moment, we can clearly see Megaroad 01 heading slightly towards a bright spot into space: did they steer away from the core or follow M-Frontier (Megaroad 01 is the farthest line on the left)?
  12. Absolutely gorgeous! Vf 117 seem to go down like M7 Vf 11s... poor things...
  13. He has actually done much worse than that with Star Wars I-II-III, actually revealing what everyone just imagined and (my thought) simply ruining the magic of the "unspoken".
  14. That's not entirely true. This version and the FX one (I own both, long story) have different subtitles and a slightly different picture quality (colors are more lively in the FX one), even if they are both satisfactory. The original two parts FX release also had Dynamite 7, M7 short clips and the movie, which are not present in the "AC" box (Encore, on the other hand, is included).
  15. The January issue (on sale November 26) of Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly Shonen Ace magazine will announce that the manga adaptation of the Macross Frontier anime television series will premiere in the February issue (on sale December 26) in Japan. Macross Frontier is the 2008 sequel to the Macross science-fiction romance franchise that will be animated by Satelight (Macross Zero, Noein) with a story by Shoji Kawamori (first Macross series, Escaflowne) and music by Yoko Kanno (Macross Zero, Escaflowne, Cowboy Bebop). Hayato Aoki (Meteor Sweeper Girls, Antenna Serenade) will draw the manga. Monthly Shonen Ace ran Haruhiko Mikimoto's Macross 7: Trash spinoff manga from 1994 to 2001. The Macross 25th Anniversary Special program that was announced earlier this month will air in Japan on December 23 at 26:50 (effectively 2:50 a.m. the next day) on the Kansai region's MBS station, and on December 28 at 25:15 (1:15 a.m. the next day) on the Tokyo area's TBS station. The one-hour special will include a retrospective of previous Macross projects and a special compilation of clips from the first episode of Macross Frontier. This will be the first new Macross animation footage to premiere on television in over 12 years. Macross Frontier takes place after the last major Macross sequels (Macross Plus and Macross 7) and centers on a fighter pilot trainee, a budding singer, and a pop idol aboard a space colony fleet under enemy attack. 16. Hey, did you notice the Skull (with a knife) on the insigna of the cool looking VF pilot? Maybe it's just a Skull Squadron homage, but hey, you never know!
  17. And 1J and S in front of their big mama!
  18. Behold my Kayodo Frankensteins!
