mylene's fan

pls help me guys, i'm pretty confused at the moment. i watched robotech many yrs ago (maybe 5-7 yrs ago), but i never watched the original macross til just this past week (in subtitles by anime cartoon)...and i have some questions that have me scratching my head... over the years i've heard hikaru and misa have a daughter miku. how do we know that? it wasn't in the series...and how do we know misa and hikaru offically ended up. in the last episode he still seems to be pretty in love with minmay when she walks ago... it says that she captain's a new ship but who tells us that hikaru goes with her? also,it seems odd that misa wouldn't mind hooking up with him knowing he'll always love minmay a lot i don't know if i went blind for a moment in the last episode or what, but i remember in robotech that global pushed misa out of the sdf during the last fight and that he and everyone else died. i didn't see him pushing misa out in the macross episode why is incest okay in japanese anime? minmay's cousin seem's to have romantic interest in minmay. was that incorporated into robotech? 2 cousins kissing is weird. why doesn't hikaru take minmay away from ?kyle (i don't know his japanese name) any of the times kyle treats minmay badly in front of his face? it doesn't seem like minmay had any romantic feelings for hikaru until the episode where he tells her he loves her. she kind of seemed oblivious to it....is that what you guys think too? did hikaru fall for misa but didn't realize it until the end? why did minmay stop singing? i was confused as to why she stopped... thanks, erinn

did mylene wear it in dynamite? one would assume she's still dating gamlin in dynamite...?... why is mylene still so fixated on basara...hasn't she realized he's not into her...? does gamlin know that basara doesn't like her...and that's why he goes after basara? -erinn

ummm....again...some people pointed out that mylene didn't choose one or the other but she can't exactly choose basara if he's not in love with her.... besides, she and gamlin seem to be continuing to date in M7 (or am i alone in this?) -erinn

how do people come up with basara liking mylene??? i don't think he likes her romantically. i just rewatched the last 2 eps and she didn't say to gamlin she wouldnt marry him,she only stated to him after he admitted that he was jealous that she cares so much about him, that yeah, she has strong feelings for both... and well, in dynamite they still seem like they're casually dating as he gives her flowers at 2 or 3 performances...who said her feelings for basara was even romantic *he was on his death bed*? maybe, she just needs more time to fall in love with gamlin b/f she'll marry him...gamlin's obviously okay with letting her have more time to develop stronger feelings for him. (((also want to point out that he didn't even think he was coming back alive))

central (i believe) who has done subtitles for macross? the only subtitled accts and translations seemed to be psychokorps but i was wondering if anyone else but them did fan subs.. and does anyone know their websites?

what's everyone's thoughts and feelings on how the series wrapped up....?

something just rubbed me the wrong way with macross 7's ending gamlin proposes to mylene and her response is i like you but i like basara just as much... what an odd way to turn someone down... although he seems okay with it... he brought her flowers and stuff in dynamite...so it seems that they're somewhat dating... i don't think M7 had a love triangle b/c like most people think...basara doesn't have romantic feelings for her... it was more of will gamlin get the girl? and will mylene get over basara... what are your opinions?
