I just took a brief look at Frontier official mook 2, it does have some mecha images like the big chubby Vajra carrier and also there's a brief explanation of the origin of VF-25 from YF-24. I also smile at the "sexy shot/pic" for each of the female character.

SDF:M the movie (DYRL) got its own hit song (ai oboeteimasuka), probably MF the Movie will also feature their own unuqie hit song which are not depicted in the TV series. Btw, I wonder if Maaya will be involved further on the movie?

I don't think the Vajra carrier open its hull like that. IIRC when it about to fire, the upper and lower hull split in the same manner as the Zentraedi gunship (it slides up/down instead of rotating on one pivot point), Another question, how will you balance the game unit? If you make the Vajra units exactly like the TV series then the red lobster will be overpowered with their BFG.

MF is good but not the best of Macross. I still considered Macross Plus as the best in term of music and animation, and SDF:M for the best story. However I have to admit that Sheryl is probably one of the best female character in MF. MF however has the best CG animation in Macross series, easily top Zero as the first Macross animation with CG model. Also MF has the best homage practice to the rest of the series. I can compare MF with SDF:M in term of the main character (Alto vs Hikaru). In SDF:M, Hikaru was introduced as an amateur pilot, he became combat pilot later on and as the story move on we can see he improved a lot in piloting skill and responsibility as squadron leader. During the final battle with Bodolza, he is not the hero who pull the trigger and end the war (not like DYRL), he was shot down and drifted to Earth. When Roy and Kakizaki were KIA, he is actually sad because of it and he even feel responsible for Kakizaki death. And Hikaru have interest in the girls (Misa and Minmay) and he choose one in the end. Now to our beloved Sakura Hime Alto, he was introduced as an elite pilot-student who later become member of S.M.S. and he already an accomplished valkyrie pilot (shown with Michel setting the simulator at highest difficulty). In MF Alto was depicted as the hero of the show, storming enemy battleship to save his friend, and even pull the shot that ended the war. Worse of it, he doesn't seem to care about his fellow VF-171EX wingman. Alto had trouble regarding his girly look and almost half of the series we saw him trying to convince other that he's a man. And about the girls, I don't think he even considered them as love interest, but as a tool to help him reach his sky (the two of you are my wings......bleh).

Its pretty durable, my son once played it in fighter mode and he "accidentally" pulled the leg off and change it into gerwalk mode, with the nose folded down, but I must admit that would be the last time I allowed my son to play with it

I just rewatched M7 (forgot which episode) which is the debut of the AZ-103, some of them are shown flying to ground in Gerwalk mode after they got hit by Basara rainbow beam.

Those little robots (trash can bot, vending machine bot) are nice tribute to SDF:M, the only missing thing are the phone booth robot and the camera vendor robot. Makes me wander, has anyone make a list of the little droids in Macross Universe? Minor detail that I like? - Hippocows!!! - Destroid emplacement on the "Ear" of Macross Quarter. - Safety belt on captain chair, and weird chair like strap on the operator. - The table on Quarter bridge. - The lucky guard on Quarter bridge who got "bribed" by Sheryl - Zentraedi kids!! And here I'm thinking they were all grown in cloning tubes.

Maybe I just made this up, but Macross F (fifth letter of the alphabet) is probable mean the fifth story in Macross Universe (SDF:M, M:Plus, M7, M0 and M-II). The number 25 is also noticeable on the series for marking the 25th anniversary of Macross franchise. Alto VF-25 is marked as SMS-007, which probably mean Alto as a womanizer (Bond?) and he ended up with two girls.

All I know they are attempting to clone the Tazmanian tiger/devil/whatever it is and the bald eagle, I doubt the scientist will get enough funding for their own "Jurassic park". If they want to clone something extreme, let them try cloning Chuck Norris, Armageddon will come when this happen.
