  1. But then, isn't it also apply to the whole Star Trek franchise?
  2. Yummy! M3 get its update again! Thanks for your efforts, March!
  3. Well, I'm interested to learn Japanese as well, but I don't really have the time to do so. I may choose an elective course if the university did offer the course. Since I do know Chinese (both simplified and traditional), at least Kanji should be a easy one for me.
  4. Sorry to be off topic, but Gubaba's gold. I can't stop laughing every time I read his... uhhh... 'threats'. BTW, wish to see the internal mechanism of the gunpod, personally. As a future engineer (and a mecha geek), these things always make me feels excited.
  5. But beating the dead horse to death is FUNNNNNNNNNNN!!! Really, why so serious? Sounds to me that you still have quite an issue with your suspension even it's already quite a while. Just like Gubaba, I think you're taking things far too personally. Me? I personally think the moderators are doing their jobs fine, and I have seen worse. (although I admit the Elitist Jerks forums Bri mentioned is an eye-opener) And LOL at March. Why I have a feeling that I heard the similiar thing before?
  6. Seconded. Really, what's the fuss with all of this? As far as I'm concern, he's temporary banned for spamming, and then he created not one, not two, but FIVE accounts (well there's some disagreement about the numbers, there's no doubt he posted at least once in this very thread using another account), which is far more than enough for a banhammer. Bottom line: You break the rule, you're gonna receive punishment. Unable to respect both the rules and the said punishments is at very best an unwise action. PS: Wow, there's so much drama in the Toys forum than, say, Macross Series forum and Anime forum, my favourite forums. I should lurk there sometimes to entertain my boring day.
  7. Actually, my bigger concern is why there is few piloted robot in western culture compared to Japanese? Sure, there is MechWarrior/BattleTech and Megas XLR, but compared to Mazingers, Getter Robos, Gundams, Valks, and much, much more, it seems that no one in US like to pilot a giant robot.
  8. LOL @ Jennifer Aniston spamming law. But think about it, where are you going to post a topic of Jennifer at MWF? And since no place is suitable for it, naturally it will be considered spam. That, or Hurin just hate her.
  9. Well, to be fair, Destiny is definitely not good, and the beginning of the first season of Gundam 00 is a bit slow. But Season 2 rocks, though.
  10. Well, I have a similiar case with you, too. I also fail to see the awesomeness behind RX-78-2 when I first see it. Yeah, it's iconic, it's easy to recognise, but I don't see any beauty or elegance behind the design. Can't blame it, really: it's 1979 when Okawara design that thing, an era where blocky, super robots-like mecha rule the days. In my case, it's only with Kawamori's GP01 that make me like the Gundam design. BTW, IMHO, RX-78-2 is one of the mecha that actually looks better in model than in linearts. Even to this day, I can be impressed by a very well make RX-78-2 model. Thanks for sharing your opinion about a good mecha design! If go for your definition, then yes, RX-78-2 is a good design, so good that even 30 years later, Bandai is still milking money just by selling its model kits and toys.
  11. Yeah, I always wonder why there's no ver. Ka of Epyon. Granted, Epyon is not my most favourite design, too bulky and not very elegant, but I have to give it credit for its dedication for being a duelist's MS. ...and I like Wing Zero Custom's wing.
  12. Well to be honest, Katoki's redesign of Wing is mostly either hit or miss. I like his Wing Zero, Deathscythe Hell and Heavyarms Kai.
  13. You guys are luckier than me. I only knows Gundam when I'm about 14 (which is 2003), from Internet and magazines. I only see the shows about 2 years later, when the TV station shows Gundam Seed.
  14. Yeah, I know the pictures are ver. Ka, I'm just too lazy to say it. yellowlightman: What makes you say that? I personally think that RX-78 did not looked well after almost 30 years, and it's mostly nostalgia that makes it look nicer than it should be. I also like Gundam ver Ka and the recent recolour of the 0 Gundam, which btw is an Okawara's design.
  15. I'm thinking you're referring to Gundam ver. Ka (re)designed by Hajime Katoki. That one do look nice. I personally like GP01, thought. It's almost like the original Gundam, but with an unique style of Kawamori. I almost called it Gundam ver. Kawamori.
  16. Yeah, right... Until they meet their makers. Yeah, Mortar Headd pretty much owns everyone.
  17. Look nice! Now all we need is to colour those pictures, and I will be in heaven.
  18. It's confirmed: the Super Pack code is SPS25S/MF25. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...st&p=717377
  19. Yeah, that makes sense. Tieria didn't have access to Veda. I think it's safe to presume that it's how Ribbons is able to communicate to the Innovators even if they're not his twins. Well, I think QBW's range varies between people. I think being somewhat a superhuman, Innovators (at least, that between Ribbons and other Innovators) are able to communicate using QBW for a long distance, as seen in numerous cases, although I suspect Veda played a role in this. And just like every evil genius out there, I think Ribbons is a bit arrogant and have a tendency to think he's the all knowing being and is always correct. That, and his dependency on Veda is making his brain a bit dull. Case in point: look how his reaction when he first see 00 Raiser.
  20. According to a translation of a magazine (can't really remember the source), Innovator twins can communicate with each other using QBW. With the exception of Ribbons, who created them, it seems that only one of the twin can do the brain trick with another one, hence why it's Revive who get 'captured' (since he is the twin of Anew), instead of Hilling. As of why didn't Ribbons doing the same thing with Tieria is beyond me. Perhaps it got to do with his arrogance and distrust to Regene, Tieria's twin. Morpheus: LOL. That will make Grah... Bushido very happy indeed. EDIT: Here's the translation I'm talking about: http://news.cosmic-era.com/?p=101〈=en
  21. Huh, what Gaofighgar? Wait till I find that fire trigger... March: Really? Can you let me see some of them? BTW, my favourite Mortar Headd so far is Knight of Gold. Kinda remind me of Hyaku Shinki.
  22. Well, for me, GP01 Full Vernier, GP03 and most of the variable fighters are close competitors. But if I'm bored, I will just use Genesic Goagaigar and crush everyone into light... March: Wow, I never realise Mortar Head can be so elegantly deadly. Do you happens to know any site that have info about Five Star Stories, asides from wikipedia and GEARS Online?
