  1. You guys are compaining how ugly the VF in Macross II is, but seems to ignore the fact the 'king' of ugly VF is here in the official timeline.
  2. But then, VF-9 is a crap. I sometimes wonder if that thing can even fly or not. Thanks for the trivia, March! Please post the rest when you're free.
  3. Hey, March, I wonder if you can give us the numbers for the rest of the VF, for the sake of comparison? At the very least, can you give the the numbers of YF-19 and YF-21? I think they have the most complex form of transformation, aside from SV-51.
  4. Actually, Valkyrie is the pet name for all variable fighters (and then some). From Macross Mecha Manual: Unfortunately, no. So far, only VF-1 has such detailed informations. Kinda wish they also released the same data for the rest of the VF.
  5. Me three! I also love the current 'build' the M3 is using now. I think like edwin, I just prefer to use HTML then Wiki. Not to said that wiki is bad per se, but I think HTML serves M3's purposes quite well, so it's the old mantra of 'if it's not broken, don't fix it' line.
  6. Sweat updates, March! Really like those transformation guides. BTW, what's your future plan for M3? Adding more info about Frontier and import some data from Chronicles? Or some animated GIFs?
  7. Clearly seen? But I see nothing on the linearts! But the Macross OP is helpful. Thanks.
  8. OMG! What can be worse than reviving a 5-year-old thread (and continue to post in that thread)? BTW, any related news about the topic?
  9. hobbes221: To reinforce March's point, here's the picture of the left arm flight deck of NMC's Battle Mode. http://www.new-un-spacy.com/macross7/newma...-rearbottom.gif BTW, how Macross really deploy their VF? I remember from DYRL that the fighters are launched via deployment arms from the ARMD's big, red circle I think, but is there other methods Macross launch her VF, seeing that she didn't have any catapult on her? Pictures would be helpful in my case. PS: I learned a lot from this thread, so kudos to Remko for making such wonderful topic.
  10. Yeah!!! It's about time. Can't wait to see the end results of that transformation guides.
  11. Nonono! You must crave it so he can be fooled. Something like SDF-01 or Klan... Now thinking about it, I think I should give you a Klan pineapple cake! That will be... Perfect MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
  12. Errr... Is that mean I can give my SDF-01 pineapple cake to you? Jokes aside, happy birthday to you, too!
  13. Happy birthday, MW! Hope the main site's overhaul will bring new life to this 9-year-old site!
  14. And why is this thread doing in a Toys forum? I thought it should be in the MW News and Site Info forum...
  15. Great Mechanic DX 06. Great Mechanic DX is a magazine about mecha anime, which usually contains a lot of mechanical data of the mecha. The issue 06 is the issue where VF-25 is covered, I think.
  16. 1. Do you know it's a crime to mention the word 'R******h' in this forum? 2. Wrong forum, it's suppose to be in Science Fiction forum. 3. And there's already a similiar thread in that forum. Post further news and comment about that... thing in that thread.
  17. sketchley: True. So can I use 'variable plane' to imply all those transformable planes in Macross? Much easier for me. But still, that didn't change my point about the whole development chart: unless needed, I don't think we should include all planes (and its variants) we have seen in the series into the chart. Morpheus: There's two option you can consider: 1. Make the chart larger to incorporate those planes. That will avoid the problem of overcrowd, although the chart will be much, much bigger than what you (or me) think is desirable. 2. Make a separate charts, showing the variants of VF, which involves more job from your side. I personally prefer this one. 3. Don't give a damn, stress that you're making development chart, not a gallery of variable vehicles, and continue with your project. Not nice, but it's your freedom to do so. Hey, that's 3 options, you cheater!
  18. 1. If I don't remember wrongly, Aegis Focker is supposed to be a clone of Roy Focker, but I'm not sure about this. 2. It's a information from some kind of publication, but which publication, I have no idea. 3. Depends on people you asked, it can go from 'It's SUPER AWESOME!!1!!1!!!' 10 to '@#$$%^#@#' 0. My opinion is to give it a try, and remember to take a right attitude to watch that show, namely 'it's a show about a j-pop star that just happen to ride a red VF', then you should have enjoy more the show that is Macross 7.
  19. Nicely done, Morpheus! It may looked a bit crowded, but it didn't really affect the chart much. A question, through: why no picture for VF-X-11? I thought March's M3 has at least 2 pictures of them. sketchley: IMHO, I think the chart is too crowded to add variants into it without further enlarging the chart. Besides, this is a development chart, not a picture list of VF, so I don't think there's a need to include the variants into the chart. Just my 2 cents.
  20. Just curious, Morpheus, but is there any direct relationship between VF-22 and VF-27? As far as I know, there's no connection between these two, except perhaps the cockpit design and the HMI. Other than that, good job. I like the idea behind it. Keep it up!
  21. bsu legato: Use Tokyo Toshokan. They're quite useful to find released subs. Included is the link to the search result of Linebarrel subs: http://www.tokyotosho.com/search.php?terms...rrel&type=0 EDIT: What am I doing, replying to a old post? Should check the date and page more carefully next time...
  22. A question about a line art: http://www.new-un-spacy.com/macross7/vf-17...-legstorage.gif What's that triangle thing in the bottom left of the picture? Is it part of the rack that holds the gunpod inside the internal leg storage of VF-17?
  23. edwin3060: Yup, the original VF-17 do have similiar configuration: http://www.new-un-spacy.com/macross7/vf-17...fighter-aft.gif And welcome to Macross World!
  24. March: Nice custom. Never realise VF-11 can be so nice with black colour.
