    Paid for my preorder of this, and I don't really even want it. I couldn't cancel it, or I'd lose some other preorders I had that I do want, so we'll see how this plays out.

    That's too bad, and pretty stupid. The sculpt is basically done, from what it looks like, and yet, it's been scrapped? Is there really not enough interest in this?

    Those are great tabs to start out with. There are some things wrong with a couple of them, but the chords are right. I think with Angel Voice, 4th finger is supposed to be kept on the the high E, 3rd fret through all chords during the verses, and the rhythm guitar of the chorus.

    No, I would make one if you make those parts. I was making a Klan pilot figure, but don't have plans for the Q-Rau.

    There were some music books put out a few years ago, but I don't think they were in any tab format. There are a few websites that fans put up with the tabs of some songs, but some of them are a bit sketchy. Are there any particular songs you were thinking of, or looking for? I have a few of the songs committed to memory, so I can play quite a few of them, but I've never really tabbed them out.

    OK, not really Macross, but a cel I picked up today at AM2 in Anaheim. My wife got one of Southern Cross, of Charles de Etouard (Sean Phillips for the Robotech fans). Orguss fans will know mine. Edit: I'm adding my wife's cel. Enjoy.

    Does anyone have confirmation on the status of this project? Is it officially vaporware at this point, or are they prioritizing this and putting it on the back burner?

    For around $120, I'd be in for a set. As for your question of the cannon, Abso-freakin'-lutely. I would definitely make a Frontier Klan Rau. It'd go along with the Klan pilot figure I'm working on in my ultra spare time.

    Make a weekend out of it. Heck, worse case scenario, is we set up a pre MW luncheon in Little Tokyo or something like that the day before, maybe a pre setup hangout where we set up the place, and play some poker, have some drinks, then MW sunday.Either that, or like Benson, you can hit up Universal Studios, or Disneyland, Legoland, or something like that, if you go with family.

    I really want a freakin' VF-19A VFX Ravens version. That's what they need.

    I was waiting on them as well. I waited to see if anyone was going to be able to confirm whether the armor pack, and super pack could all fit on one valk, or if they were going to make you get two. I was also weary on having to get just the Ozma, if they were going to re-release it as a bundle with the armor. I missed the opening preorders for both the F and S, and luckily, as people bowed out from preorders at HLJ, I snagged one of each. I think I was able to get one because someone dumped their preorder due to the wrong paint on the leg (which I thought was a little nit-picky), and ended up swooping in on it at that time. I think I was just lucky. This just seems to be like waiting to see a huge band, and knowing that not everyone is gonna get tickets to see them.

    If anything, it was probably meant to be viewed and heard on those little plates that Misa got Ai Oboeteimasuka translations from, and the type that Bodolza played for Britai in the movie. Here on earth, it's just a matter of your choice, obviously, but higher fidelity and sharper images with clearer color are pretty much always preferred, unless one is trying to be different.

    Nice Cymbal set you got there. Are they all Ziljian? I have an old Pearl set in storage with a few. Don't know if they are any good or not. I'm not really a drummer. When you drum, do your valks ever fall over?

    I have two unassembled 1S kits, 2 1J kits, and 1 1A kits waiting to customize. I'm keeping the 1S kits for possible Minmay Guard customs if that never happens, and I'm not too sure about the 1J kits, but I gotta look into dying the plastics, if that's possible. I might have to do my own Max and Milia customs if they never reissue those. The 1A, I have something planned for that. I hope to put those on display sometime.

    She is a product of the BSG "Starbuck" treatment, I think. Hot character, don't know much about her.

    That's the first thing I noticed when I saw the HD remastered DVD. There's soooo much that you miss in the bootlegs from long ago. The Bluray is going to be epic in quality, just by the previews of it. If you plan to get it, watch the opening of one, then the opening of the other. You'll be able to see the difference from the get go.

    The one thing that is on our side, is that this is a reused design and mold. I'm sure they've gotten their money out of it, so to do this one is more a matter of different color materials, paint, and tampo printing. I'm going to assume the box design will be relatively similar to the same releases, so I don't think there's too much to worry about in this scheme. That said, there are worse things that could be happening, and we don't know, so I'm going to patiently see. As you said, I definitely want more non canon variants. A Minmay Guard would be awesome, and I'd be all for having one for the Moon and Paris Acts.

    If it's the FX version, the subs aren't that great, and the picture quality is pretty grainy. In the opening sequence of the FX version, when it shows the Macross going through space, you can't really see any of the stars moving in the background. On the HD remastered DVD version, you can see that, but there's still a little grain. This Bluray version looks almost like a brand new release.

    Could just be a backorder on the plastic, the factory is running behind, the company making the packaging is booked, or all sorts of other middleman issues. I don't think it'd be something major, like faulty parts. If it were, still glad they're holding back.

    Alright, here I go again...another night with the laptop running next to the bed. Did the F and the S have this same release drama, or is this one special? It makes me wonder if they're trying to figure out the demand for these still, or is this all just circumstance? I'll put Ai-Kun and Nyan Nyan up to the task, and see if they can do the job of monitoring for me again.

    Then why would they even put up the item this early on HLJ? That wouldn't make much sense, but if that were the case, I'd give a big F U to HLJ as well.

    It would've worked either way, but "backlash" works the same, and probably what I would've used if I were responding. Good show.

    IF by some reason they made it in 1/48, I'd be out. There's no need for me to buy multiple lines of these, and I'm not about to start up collecting another line. It would be a big disappointment for those that sold their 1/48 line, those that don't collect the 1/48 line, and overall, the 1/48 line would still be incomplete. I would be interested in those fast packs that were recently shown as well. While not as glamorous and iconic as the originals, it'd be a cool upgrade.
