    Amazon subtracts the tax for foreigners when we check out. Ordered one because who knows how long it'll be before we see the next PF.

    I have those decal sheets. They're great for bigger markings like the UN SPACY or ejection seats or the big 301. But a lot of the smaller text markings aren't that great. It's fine as long as you don't look too closely at it. All this hassle could have been avoided if they just printed 301 on the wing.

    Since the standard edition is going regular retail, I'm expecting the PF edition to be an Arcadia webshop item. That's not going to help with the price.

    Sadly, printing white is not possible unless you have a special decal printer. Fortunately, the 11C is almost completely white so it isn't really an issue. Thanks! I'm developing a new appreciation for the Thunderbolt now that I've spent a lot more time messing with it, as opposed to just sitting on a display stand as it has been all these years.

    Break it. Some of the screws were ridiculously tight too. I have a blister on my hand from the amount of torque needed to remove some of them.

    You reminded me of the time I played FFXI back in the day. I used the Japanese client because Square Enix inexplicably did not allow Japanese input on the English client, and instead forced American players to use their stupid auto-translate phrase generator. So I would often receive these auto-translate messages from American players which would have made sense in English, but were freaking gibberish when they came over to me in Japanese. I would reply "English is fine dude."

    Haha thanks all. My case is minor and I never felt the need to go to the emergency room or anything. Just super fatigued for almost two weeks and didn't have the energy to do anything except rest, watch TV, and occasionally crawl to the kitchen to eat something. I'm still barred from returning to work pending a negative COVID test, but at least I'm still getting paid. Anyway, it seems Yamato took a page from Bandai's playbook and started screwing and gluing everything together, making taking apart the VF-11 a bit of a chore. Made my own decal sheet in preparation. Decals are for both the B and C.

    Oh, I love reading your critiques of Bandai's poor solutions to problems that others have already fixed with much better solutions. I'm always noticing how poorly designed things are every I go, especially as I get older. Case in point: when I visit a certain friend, in order to get into the neighborhood, you have to enter a code at the gate. However, the keypad is on the right side of the driveway, meaning that unless you're Mr Fantastic and can stretch your arm from the driver seat out the passenger window to hit the keypad, you'll have to get out of your car and walk around to the keypad to enter the gate code. Oh, and the driveway isn't long enough to accommodate anything longer than a Yugo, so the back of your car will be sticking out into the street the entire time. It's 2020 and Bandai still hasn't learned that relying purely on friction to hold things in place is goddamn stupid.

    Alright, now that I've finally recovered from the bone-crushing fatigue from my recent COVID infection and can move around under my own power again, it's time to fix up the the old VF-11C. She's probably the most plain looking valk out of the box. Here she is out of the box. Very, very plain indeed.

    LMAO love how those two have turned their reaction to "You don't need to pay scalper prices with a little patience" into some kind of brave, principled stand on their part. It's just a friendly suggestion, just like when someone says "Hey you probably shouldn't touch that hot stove." Of course, I or anyone can't stop you from paying scalper prices anymore than we could stop someone from putting putting their hand on a hot stove if they so choose. Anyone, that's all I'll say about it. Back to the echo chamber for you guys.

    They periodically reissue their stuff, some more frequently than others. I haven't really noticed a trend of any Eaglemoss ships skyrocketing in price. I've been wanting a Negh'var cruiser for quite some time but it's always out of stock.

    Nin nin tried to give me store credit after canceling my 31A order. I told them absolutely not and I wanted my money back if they couldn't deliver the goods. They relented and refunded me my money. Still annoys me that they basically got an interest-free loan out of it.

    I was asking for my input from people who have had issues with AE's warehouse, not people who haven't had issues. I probably should have made that clearer.
