This is all @505thAirborne's fault. After fixing up the DX 1D I had an orange valk itch, so I fixed up the old YF-25. Nothing special, just the usual quick and dirty fixes. Starting point Finished

Technically non-scale but it's around 1/144 scale, maybe 1/170? Not a big toy but it's very poseable. The missile hatches open and the cockpit can be opened to reveal Klan sitting inside.

Pixie Squadron

Found my other Tomahawk and a couple of Defenders! Guess I'll only need to order one Tomahawk from Arcadia to make a squadron.

45000 yen for the bundle is not a bad price at the current rates. Because of the favorable exchange rates I went ahead and ordered a few high yen items that I've been wanting but was on the fence about. Now's the time!

Star Trek V is enjoyably bad. Into Darkness and The Motionless Picture are the only two Trek movies I can't rewatch. TMP because it's so damn boring and ID for just being so incredibly stupid and bad, but not in the "so bad it's good" way that The Final Frontier is. I never liked the Kelvin cast. Pine-Kirk is an entitled and arrogant SOB but without the actual awesomeness that made Kirk great. Quinto-Spock is a goddamn lunatic. Ethan Pecs is a much better Spock (so far at least). Anyway, I'm liking SNW so far. I think it's the best live action Trek show since DS9 (which isn't a particularly high bar). I'm glad to see that the whiny & pedantic self-appointed arbiters of "real Trek" who treat TOS as some kind of holy writ appear to be in the minority regarding SNW.

It's a feature, not a bug! Ill-fitting wing tabs just means its even easier to transform from fighter to battroid! No more having to spend hours pulling out overly tight tabs!

I slow boat ship a lot of stuff these days due to how high shipping costs have become. I have learned nearly infinite patience during the pandemic. I don't slow boat valks though because I don't trust my hard-to-replace valks not getting lost or banged up on such a long journey. Cue the montage! That's just a sampling of the terrible condition of the packages I've received over the years.

Hey thanks! I always thought they were sensor units, but whatever they are I painted them in since Bandai keeps skipping that detail.

Fiddled with my newly arrived Mirage. As expected it has all the same problems as the Hayate release. Overall the 31AX is a big step backwards from the original 31. She's a pretty bird but a frustrating experience to actually handle. I do like the color and overall look more than Hayate's though.
