Yeti stands are the absolute worst stands I have ever used. Did I say worst? Because I meant BEST. Far and away the best stands ever. It can get a little pricey, especially if you have a large collection, but they're worth it. Putting two or three valks per stand helps ease the cost. I like to have two per stand just for simplicity and symmetry, but they can accommodate three with no problem. Has anyone tried four to a stand?

Still waiting on my latest round of Yeti stands, but I at least finally freed my entire DYRL squadron from their boxes. Mmmm rainbows...

That looks great! I never knew the weathering sets had additional paint apps. Interesting. So, this isn't a new purchase, but I started pulling out my DYRL valks to set up and discovered I have two VF-1A Hikaru sets?! I remember buying one of them when I was in Tokyo last year, but I have no recollection whatsoever where the other one came from.

You guys got me on a kick to shore up all my VF-1S's that I've been neglecting for ages! Used the 3rd party decals I got to finally add the UN Spacy kite on my TV super parts so it wouldn't look so plain with a just big blank circle.

Dear lord! If the PF version looks like that, I might have to get two!

Thank you, kind sir! Hmmm you may be onto something there. I can see the strike parts being regularly replaced, seeing as they're often ejected in battle, and when you eject something in space, it just keeps going and going forever into the void... Then there's the question of how much visible wear something gets if it's only used in the vacuum of space. Although I did pull the reaction missiles from a Yamato set so the white would match, the Arcadia white on the forearms really does stand out. I could try swapping the white parts, but it's going to be in fighter most of the time anyway, so it's not worth the effort.

Will do once I get my next set of Yeti stands! Nah, that's just my old 1J I detailed way back when. Since I converted my premium finish Roy into my TV squadron Roy, I took the premium finish strike parts and gave them to my old DYRL Roy.

Yeah you're right. Should be a totally different head and probably some small differences in the body armor, much like III. Been a long time since I've watched the Guyver series. Went ahead and ordered the figma Guyver II-F. Movie color version, because the maroon color doesn't sit right with me, even if it is canon.

Opened up Guyver III. Beautiful action figure! He's taller than Guyver I, as he should be. Thought Max Factory would get lazy and just reuse the exact same body and proportions. My only gripe with Guyver I was that the mega-smasher caused the chest plates to bulge out too much. Guyver III comes with a swappable chest that has no mega-smasher. Another chest plate is included for the crossed arm pose.

Still waiting for Max Factory to release Lisker's Guyver II. It's just a recolor with a tiny modification to the head. What's taking so long?

I just wanted the Max figure for my blue Q-Rau... now I have to track down the other CM Macross figures.

That looks fantastic! What scale is that and how much? I've been thinking about getting some real world jets to go along with my valks.

Don't forget to swap the head too. Same. This is the first one I've bought that's had a problem. I got it from HLJ at half price, and HLJ has been pretty good at replacing or refunding for broken items like this.
