You know, in about 100 million years or so, continental drift will cause the west coast of North America to be right up close to the east coast of Japan. Then I won't have to wait so long for packages to arrive and I can get my valkyries a day or two sooner.

Wow mickyg is harsher than me! I was just going to say black is a bit too dark for general panel lining on white surfaces, at least to me.

PF is purchased through Arcadia web shop. Some retailers like HLJ and NY will carry them with a mark up.

My most recent HLJ shipment has the 31C, SHF Spider-Man, and one snack. The addition of the snack took away the FedEx option, so it's probably some kind of regulation regarding food. The addition of one snack item did not change the cost of EMS, but a second item bumped the price up. I'll just have to wait till next shipment to enjoy my Ghana chocolate bar. One 31C is in customs now. Hurray!

Paint scraping is the biggest nuisance on the 31 series. The actual scrapes are small, but they annoy the hell out of me. The area just above the shoulder assembly is the worst. I keep refreshing my tracking numbers hoping to see an update on my 31C locations.

HLJ usually gets stuff shipped out in a timely manner. As for customer service, they're the only Japan-based retailer that actually has it. With all the others, it's pretty much "tough sh**" if there's a problem with the item. My CDJ and NY orders shipped yesterday; those I paid off awhile back.

I've had HLJ ship stuff out on Saturdays before. But if I selected FedEx, it wouldn't actually be on a plane out of the country until Monday or Tuesday.

If you want anime accurate pilot figures for your Bandai valks, you'll have to customize them yourself. Paid for my HLJ order. Went with EMS instead of FedEx so it'll be hopefully ship Saturday instead of Monday or Tuesday. Let's see which of the three arrive first...

Sorry. I meant beam sabers! Ha! You must've been replying when I updated the pics after I got all the lights working (there's a lot of batteries!). It's the Hot Toys version. I'm usually good with the Figuarts versions, but the SHF Mark 46 was such a letdown that I got the big boy version. -

The new stuff looks great! It almost makes me want to go and buy some Star Wars SHF toys despite not being a big Star Wars fan. But I really like that Galactica! Did you build it yourself? Glad you're alright too. No flooding or and real damage where I live, though I did have to live at the hospital for a few days straight during the week of Harvey. The worst part of Harvey was sleeping on a stretcher and having to eat hospital food. On that note, UPS finally delivered my Mark 46 after a 12 day delay! The Bandai Iron Man figures are usually pretty solid, but their Mark 46 was a floppy mess that looked all wrong, so I'm glad to finally have a proper version of it!

CDJ just billed me for the 31C. Looks like it's the actual charge and not a pre-authorization. Here's hoping it's out the door in the next 24 hours!

Hey, that's spanner's job! The Tomytec kits looks great and I got all the fighter kits, but I didn't really like the chunky battroids. Maybe I've developed an unrealistic battroid body image from the more recent shows.

You never got the entire SMS Skull squadron? The 31s do look great and it's such a damn shame they were wasted on such a garbage series! Just like the VF-2SS.

I kinda want a third one now so I can have a dual battroid display with Hayate... I'm pretty sure this is the most money I've spent on a series that I didn't even like.

The sword and shield went to my third Draken which will be permanently in battroid, because I don't think I want to transform it again.

Yes sir! Thought the TV valks were a bit too plain out of the box, though I'm eventually going to get to all of them! Thanks! I just wanted a little more depth to the TV valks. Eventually I'd like to decal them all up so they're all "premium finish." -
Completed my Sv-262 Keith Yeti setup. Still a long way to go for a show I don't even like! But I still love the wooshin'!
