Do we get an alternate bullet - riddled torso too? I guess we have to wait for Claudia to get a pineapple salad accessory.

Whoa that was a great deal. Which store was that? I want one now. I wasn't big on whisky till I started drinking the Japanese stuff. From my last trip to the distillery. -
Since people are receiving entire replacement legs and chucking out the old legs, maybe someone here can give you the correct L or R leg you need that they're throwing out. You can have mine if it's the one you need.

Haha well I'll let you guys know the condition when I get it in a few weeks. Strange how some branches allow SAL shipping while others do not for these items.

Which whisky did you buy? I'm a rookie when it comes to whisky, but I do enjoy a Hakushu and soda on the rocks. Oh, I guess that Max is kinda cool too. -
Perfect timing! I'll be in Japan right at that time. Would love to pick up another Hikaru 1S at retail if I can. Grats on the Max. Love all the pics!

Looks like the aftermarket for Max has plateaud at 22k. Guess he's just not as in demand as Hikaru...for now. https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1120352947&ref=list&keyword=マクãƒã‚¹

Just picked up a set of 31 armors for only 12k. Hopefully nothing is wrong or missing, as the listing made no mention of any problems. I guess this one will be my detailing guinea pig.

Hmmm strange that the Arcadia adapter is larger than the old Yamato adapter, as it works fine with the old Yamato simple stand. In any case, it's good to be aware and I'm pleased to hear that CY has a new adapter. Hope it'll be available on the store by the time my 51 is fixed.

Awesome YF-29 Saburo! But do you have the best YF-29 paint scheme of all? (Also the most complicated color balancing I've done yet)

Necromancy! One little thing and I have to reshoot. Can you spot the reason? (Besides color balance since I didn't do any post processing on the first.) Original: Reshoot:

Eaglemoss Star Trek Starship, BSG & other starships Collection
Lolicon replied to Sandman's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Yeah, gotta learn to appreciate movies that are so bad, they're good. The only Trek movies I find unwatchable are The Motion(less) Picture (because it's soooo boring) and Into Darkness (for being incredibly bad and stupid in an unenjoyable way). To keep things on track, I meant to do a comparison between the Eaglemoss Excelsior and Enterprise-B. There's a bunch of differences between the two, and I'm not talking about the differences that were made on the studio model, but rather Eaglemoss's bizarre choices. For example, the saucer on the Excelsior is noticeably thicker than the Enterprise-B, when they should identical (at least at this scale).- 924 replies

I enjoyed Nemesis! Not because it was a good movie; it was goddamn awful. But it was so awful it was strangely enjoyable, much like Star Trek V.- 924 replies

Harvey Dent always wants snacks, especially freeze-dried chicken. (Yes that's his name.) It wasn't the first time he photo bombed me. -

Meh, those are okay. Not every ship can be a first-rate beauty like the refit Constitution. We prefer things we're familiar with, after all. I wasn't wild about the Enterprise-E when I first saw it in 1996, but it's grown into a favorite of mine. What's with the orange bussard collectors? Going retro TOS there?- 924 replies

Oh yeah, those damned pilots. I blue tacked mine into their seats so they wouldn't flop around the cockpit. But yeah, like on my latest batch of VF-4 photos, I ended up reshooting the battroids like 4 times because there was one little thing or another. And even the final product isn't perfect, but it was late and I just said screw it. Yeah, that sounds pretty frustrating. I wish I had saved some of the screw ups, but here's one from awhile back. This one is an especially insidious one for me, because I often don't spot it till it's up on my 4k monitor. It's really easy to see on this one, but often it's very obscure. Can you spot it? There's a stray cat hair on the right air intake. This happens all the damn time to me, and most of the time they're next to impossible to see even with the valk right in front of me, as the hairs are very fine. Only on the big monitor do I usually catch them. A stray hair just randomly floats in on the air from time to time. And sometimes I catch more than a hair in a picture. -

Well hey, I've developed a new appreciation for the effort you have to put into your shots. From getting camera settings right, to painstakingly setting up each shot, then post processing it... then having to reshoot it because you left a panel out of place or something. That last one might just be me. -
Whoops, nothing like that. The chest on my copy simply will not stay put and always pops out of place.
