Great diorama, thanks for the pic!!!

F u c k i n g sweet!!!!! Excuse my language The good thing about the YF-19 and the YF-21 is that because of the design of the nosecone, at certain angles it looks very thin. This angle completely sells the YF-19:

And more!!! Please Yamato, give this toy the 1/60 treatment. I won't complain if you give the YF-21 the same treatment

My Garland update: it's been almost a month and a half since I received it and everything is fine. No stress marks or cracks on the shoulders.- 1057 replies

Great custom!! The small details make the difference.

Basing my opinion on proportion and not taking into account armor, details/sculpt and part fitting I'd say: Fighter - 1/60, better canopy/cockpit front fuselage, larger vertical stabilizers. Gerwalk - 1/48 (BUT with it's arms tucked behind cause the damn arms are too skinny) followed closely by the 1/60 Battroid - 1/60 ALTHOUGH the VF-1S has a head that is an abomination so I can't pose that particular model in battroid. So, although the 1/60 has better proportions, when it comes to the VF-1S I choose the 1/48 Now, THE battroid is the 1/48 VF-1S with GBP armor!!!
-
Damn!!! This scheme did nothing to me on the earlier pics without markings. Now that I see it all stickered up I MUST buy it!!!! That means I have to buy more CF's or Low VizII's. Already have three of the regular GBP, I see a heavily armored army coming...

Where would one find the best info on the VF-9 transformation? I've seen pics of it in the 3 modes but I don't think I've ever seen much detail on how it transforms. Are there any videos of the transformation out there? Just curious, Carl 422966[/snapback] Carl, If you want I can scan the Macross Design Book

Yamato used POM on the 1/60 VF-1's. It's almost as hard as metal. I wonder why they stopped using it?- 1057 replies

Yeah, I watched the video twice and it's a disaster waiting to happen... I'm much more gentle with my toys. I've transformed my Garland more than twenty times and nothing is broken. But I'm too scared to watch that video again- 1057 replies
