  1. I joined late in the Yamato game so I don't have a 1/48. And I couldn't afford it back in the day when it got released.
  2. I watched it again the second time and I didn't see any locking mechanism for the backpack when it gets folded. Would it just hang loosely or the hinge will be stiffer but gets loose over time?
  3. Because 'officially' the VF-1J didn't had the Super Pack in the series.

    BANDAI DX YF-19!!

I know NY doesn't have a good customer service and it has some bad practice on how they do business, but I'm not calling them the worst. They still trying to deliver people's DX VF-31A without asking for additional payment since we don't have evidence if they're getting those from the secondary market with price increase.
  5. If Bandai's upcoming 1/48 VF-1J will share the same size as Yamato's old 1/48, then yes, it will be similar in size with Arcadia's 1/60 VF-0's. From Jenius' Anymoon site:
  6. I was just busy earlier here at work. And I saw that video during lunch break. Hehehe. And yes, she's a beaut. I didn't regret ordering two. And I'm sure I'm going to order two if they announced Hikaru's Strike VF-1S or Super VF-1A.
  7. Yes, the Yamato 1/60 VF-1 v2, along with the current Arcadia 1/60 VF-1 releases does that. You have to push it inward passing the tabs on its sides. From Jenius' Anymoon site showing VF-1 back panel. I already set it to play from that section so hit play.
  8. I'm LOOVIIIIIINNGG what I'm seeing. Glad I PO'ed two. Now I can't wait for them to announce Hikaru's Strike VF-1S.
  9. Yeah, saw it on Facebook so I posted a link earlier. Got me curious knowing that it's Chile so I asked. 9 Hour Drive Delivery Service?
  10. I'm sure it will. But I doubt there's already a published version of the reboot one. I got my first 6 volumes from HLJ before.
  11. If anyone misunderstood my post above @teckno viking's -- I'm just commenting on the business side of thing regarding shipping and extra costs if ever there will be a middleman.
  12. Show Z has two Kshatriya for PO. Both Free Shipping to the U.S. Steel Legend 1/100 Kshatriya for $259.99: https://showzstore.com/pre-order-steel-legend-1-100-sl-01-sl01-nz-666-kshatriya-gundam-unicorn-metal-build-style_p0923.html Metal Club 1/100 Kshatriya for $239.99: https://showzstore.com/pre-order-metal-club-mc-1-100-nz-666-kshatriya-mb-mb-style-gundam-unicorn_p0871.html The photos posted above looks amazing. And I'm not sure if I'm ready to expand my MB collection outside Exia's, 00's, Strike, and Freedom. Though I already PO'ed the MB Zeta Gundam from ShowZ last night which I think I'm the last one who preordered it since it's now showing PO Sold Out.
  13. To be honest, I thought it was Ron Perlman behind that.
  14. Right now, the only cheapest way to do is find someone near your area so you guys can do 'group buy'. And that's what most of us did here in the US when Captain released this. The thing with what you mentioned is that, if a lot of people ordered, then I assumed what you suggest is kind of a practical way of doing it. However, that person should be a partner in his business. A middleman or some sort. But understand that if there's a middleman, it means he or she should have compensation for stocking, handling, and shipping everyone's order from the U.S. And Cap will definitely get his/her compensation out from the overall cost. Meaning the said item might cost more from what he offered. That's part of the business. So even if he did what you suggested, you only just saved a few bucks. And besides, Cap's reputation here for his skills is enough for me to get it as is. So I have to say it's really worth it. Just my 2 cents on this matter. Also, if you're tight on the budget (like everyone else here including me), I think you can still go for those 1/15(?) Mospeada Ride Armor kits that comes with the saddle bags that cost around $20+/-. (At this point though, I'm not sure if Aoshima reissues are still widely available.)

  20. I see. I googled and most that I found only have 3 waldoes rather than 4. Though information or specs says it has 4(?). And it would have made more sense to have 4 since Spider have 8 legs. Oh well.

    BANDAI DX YF-19!!

Hope Bandai copies these proportions for a DX YF-21. Or they could just upscale and update their 'unfinished' VF Hi-Metal YF-21 design and turn it into a DX release.
  22. At 1/6th scale, it's a wonder why it only has 3 robotic arms rather than 4?
  23. This looks awesome!
