  1. It's a warm memory of childhood from:http://www.toysdaily.com/discuz/viewthread.php?tid=15055&extra=page%3D4&page=2
  2. Hikaru's bird has a single wheeled front landing gear also... And the PG word in below text is related to PG Hyakushiki (Type 100) I guess, maybe the modeler use some of PG parts to customize his Valk.
  3. I know it's an old topic, but a Chinese modeler is working on his 1/700 ASUKA II, also confused by the length of it, there are some pics you may interested : http://www.sonicmodel.com/topicdisplay.asp...TopicID=1801845
  4. Oh my Godness! did you see this?! http://www.hkml.net/Discuz/viewthread.php?...550&fpage=1 Totally awesome! Even the Roy Focker can "transform" from standing mode to sit down mode!
  5. Correction: 1/60 VF-0S height is 32cm, so a 15cm tall WAVE kit should be 1/128 around.
  6. Nice review 1/60 VF-0S height is 35cm, so a 15cm tall kit should be 1/140 around.
  7. What a reply Some girls I know want to buy this one recently, they just like the "make up mirror" looking, don't care about games. One gal even gonna get a GBM as a key chain!
  8. I've had a hand on the NDS play with the cute Nintendog, but it just doesn't impress me much, and I don't like the "plastic feeling" it gave me. Since I already have DC and PS2, I can't afford one more system in this old age(27), so I gonna say no on NDS. Now I'm very satisfied with my new PSP, playing sports games, racing, RPGs, music and MP4 movies, even reading txts on it. Sony did a fantastic job on the portable system, always, just like their Walkman. I found GBASP,GBM and NDS are very popular in girls and young ladies here, and they even got PSP in the same time, really crazy shopping, they don't care about how many games they want on one system, just grab all the little nice looking machines in front of them!
  9. GameBoy Advance ... what? Just make me crazy...
  10. Is it necessary to make GU-11 so big? Even not use the super tech we can do a smaller gunpod now. And as the GU-11 can fire in fighter mode, why we need a telescope structure in batriod mode?
  11. Is this means the VF-11 rumour come to an end? btw, the Wave one should be in 1/144
  12. I'm looking for a website in English, with many Macross AND Robotech kits box cover and side art. It also has Patlabor and Legioss/Mospeada kits. It should be in my Favourate, but I just can't locate it. Can any MWer here help me to find out? Thanks.
  13. I've tried 1999, they only has RX-78, no MS-06S's instruction. Any where else can I find it? Thanks~
  14. Am I dreaming? Are these all your scratch building? plastic? wood?
  15. Great looking~ any scale information? do you have a X-Wing or something side by side?
  16. Great help from all above, thanks everyone~ And wm cheng, you gave me strong confidence to get and build the AMT kit, may the Force be with you all the time
  17. I wanna know who is who? (1/41?) (1/72?) I know FM's SW kit is the best in 72 scale, but my target is a bigger one, 1/48 is good, could be displayed next to my Yammie Valks. A little tough or lack of detail is not that big problem to me. Any comments on those kits are welcomed, reviews, price advices, thanks!
  18. hmmm...I think it only says "Tenjin's artworks were used as model kit box art and DVD package" or so, no DVD comes with this book AFAIK
  19. I would think that the small retro-thrusters located on the sides of the intakes would not be powerful enough to stop the VF-1 in a carrier landing in fighter mode. Of course as others have said, why not just land in Gerwalk mode? Graham I strongly think a traditional ONE centered tail hook is the final solution for landing on deck(in atmosphere). At least VF-1 doesn't maneuver like a Yukikaze Mave (ep4 especially), right? Two hooks system will tear off one leg while one of the hook missing the stop wire.
  20. I used to love HLJ, but recent days, their pre-shipping speed is slowing down badly, don't know why too much Japanese holidays?
  21. I hope too. Do you remember what happened after the Movie of Patlabor: Wasted Thirteen----The all new 1/35 MG Patlabor series was born! So let's just cross our fingers~
  22. Although there are still some 1/55 series in the market, no anything really new from Bandai since...when? I don't know how the Bigwest copyright system run, if Yamato keeps poping items up, then Bandai can't get a hand in? Or just becoz those very-well-selling Gundamn thing, so Bandai doesn't want to make any new other toys? I'm not that extreme, but a toy market without Bandai's competition is not good IMHO
  23. Good luck~ At least you are back to modeling life, while I'm still just don't stop collecting plastic parts without opening the box/bag...
