I mean if the Valks are staying ground in Fighter mode, how do they take off without runway? in DYRL scence, the VT-1 was already in Gerwork mode? I don't remember well. and how much gravity there? I don't see a thruster under the nose or bottom of the fuselage of Hasegawa/Yamato/Bandai Valks, so the DYRL scence is another anime magic?

thanks for great pics all~ where to get the 1/144 transformable VFs? are they just "perfect transform", but not that "playable" as a toy like banpresto?

They are not TFs, so how does a Valk transform on the ground? VF-0/1 have no VTOL ability right? so if the runway is unavailable, they are dead ducks right?

VF-0's normal single tail hook is way too better than VF-1's twin hooks! how does VF-1's nuke engine work in aerosphere? fuel needed?

I don't know how tall it is, 12 inch? 1/6? is it an ok toy? I care more about the pilot helmet and uniform than the body. thanks~

sorry to dig this up, but I just got a "Gundam Valk" yesterday, it IS a "real" knock off of Bandai 1/65 VF-19kai, made in somewhere China. it has many metal joints, the quality is better than usual 1/55 VF-1 bootlegs IMHO. although I never get a hand on the original Bandai VF-19, but this one is really tough and playable. just my opinion for you who may happen to catch it on ebay/yahoo. this picture is the one I have(taken by the seller), my DC is lend out, so I can't post other pics now.

What kind of wings did it have? I can't tell what kind of wings from that scene, but that scene was printed on the side of Hasegawa 1/72 VF-0B kit's box, so let's just sit back and enjoy~

the heads of 0A and 0B/D ARE different~ I just notice that~~ in some background of EP1 scenes(in Asuka's garage), we can find some 2 seated canopy, can't figure out if that's B or D, why don't think it's a B? and in EP2, which type was blowed up in front of Roy Focker? and which type did Shin jump into and shot at Nora? I can't recall now, are they 0A?

no offence, but is that Metal Coated VF-1S very rare? I just grab 2 of them from ebay for $24 total, and it seems more of them available now... I don't really care about if it is rare, it's Hasegawa, it's Macross, so I like them.

I've got the set of colored clear version of Hasegawa VF-1 series, due to rarityraider's information , I like them very much~ but now comes the new problem, like starshipmodeler.com said, it's hard to paint or add on decal without more detail pictures(MW main site only got 5 pics). so if anyone could help to post some scan of Model Graphix 2001 April? that would be great help~thanks~
