  1. So, given the expected price for this toy ($200-$250) does anyone expect it to sell out in seconds? Or be around for a while (hours or days)?
  2. Just acquired my third Detolf case. ---------------------------------------------------------- "I'll just buy one display case and fill it up..." "Looks like I need a second case to handle the overflow..." "ok, one last case and them I'm finished collecting..." "I need more closet space for all these toy boxes...time to get rid of some clothes." ------------------------------------------------------------------- Valkoholism is a serious problem. If you know of a family member or loved one who appears to be a valkoholic get them help as soon as possible.
  3. Any opinions as to what the price point will be for this toy?
  4. Latest acquisitions. Combined shipping using HLJ's virtual warehouse=$38.
  5. Just unboxed my YF-30 and (so far) it has exceeded my expectations. The tampo printing is nicely done, the joints/parts all line up nicely, and the look/feel of this new design is different from the 25 and 29 lines (straighter lines, less curves). And, hardpoints are the icing on the cake.
  6. New mold + a bunch of repaints = empty bank account Also, just discovered that my items (YF-30 and Prophecy, EMS, HLJ) are en route. What a way to end a work week.
  7. How do you make the canopy clear: rubbing, solution, other?
  8. My toy is in customs in San Francisco.
  9. Finally got my shipping notice from HLJ.
  10. I'm glad Bandai finally decided to tampo print the warning and no step markings. The stickers are a pain.
  11. Patience wins the day. I got one at HLJ (and at 2,000 yen less than retail). Now I can combine shipping with my Prophecy sitting in the warehouse.
  12. Has anyone ever thought of starting a thread dedicated to the "preordering challenge" that happens with nearly every Bandai release? I'm glad I got my Ozma the first time around because I have never been able to place any preorder when they open. Thankfully, I've had luck in acquiring my toys through other methods.
  13. The scheme is too busy for my taste. I'll pass.
  14. In stock at CDJapan: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/NEOGDS-106908 Good price too.
  15. Low stock available on HLJ. I snagged one at a good price. Ok folks, go go go!!
  16. There really aren't any options left for Macross toys in the Puget Sound area . Both Kicks Hobby Japan (North Seattle) and Raku Anime (Bellevue, WA) closed their doors. You might try researching/exploring the International District in downtown Seattle. Otherwise, we continue to use online businesses. Also, online prices are nearly always going to be cheaper than stateside retail locations. Local business prices of imported items tend to be quite high. Also, you might try attending Sakuracon and checking out the dealers room.
  17. Everyone knows that Seattle, WA is a serious Macross collecting hub.
