  1. Got my preorder at a reasonable price. Thanks for the heads up.
  2. Did someone already post a list of positives and negatives when comparing the reissue to the original sculpt? I'm curious if I should pursue the reissue. Are the improvements worth it?
  3. How weird is it to place a preorder during daylight hours?
  4. I have an order through Otacute that I don't need. Is anyone interested in taking this copy?. PM me if interested. Mark
  5. Sorry, but they only had one. I was doing a search to see what HLJ still had for sale regarding Yamato valks. When I saw it I didn't hesitate to grab it. When I went back to the page it was discontinued again. The link is: http://www.hlj.com/product/YMT00099
  6. Sweet! I just snagged a Yamato 1/60 VF-1A Kakizaki DYRL from HLJ for under $90. It is really getting harder to find any Yamato VF-1s still for reasonable prices.
  7. I am going to wait to buy this one until after it's released. I panic buyed on the CF 171 and paid way too much for the first one. Given the ease in which CF171 and RVF-25 are now I think this latest CF will be easy to acquire once the fervor dies down.
  8. Btw, is the ventral fin permanently attached or removable?
  9. Managed to place an order with HLJ before discontinued again.
  10. Yes! There is hope they will come through.
  11. Pre-ordered both. Now I just have to get a VF-25G. RVF-25 on pre-order from Otacute.
  12. Well, I feel the same way. But if it didn't become available now, and you passed on NY, you'd have no toy. Given what a pain in the *** these toys are to acquire I think we all jump when they are available. Anyway, I snagged a far cheaper one on Ami Ami last night. I hope it's less dinged up than my first one.
  13. I just finished watching Episode 15. Awesome does not begin to describe it.
  14. As much as I'm tempted to grab another unit at NY's better price I don't want to risk getting another poor quality/damaged toy. The manufacturing scuffs and scraped underside of my first toy leaves me wary of purchasing possibly another damaged copies from NY. Am I the only person with this concern?
  15. Well, it does fly through space. So maybe it'll be inverted at some point.
  16. So, now that my toy has arrived I have examined it and am less than satisfied on the condition of the plastic surfaces. There are a bunch of scratches and dings on the toy (shiny blue plastic lets everything show). The worst area is in the picture, with grooved/scraped damage under the left wing. This appears to be caused sometime while being assembled or manufactured. It looks pretty unsightly. Otherwise, tampo printing is in great shape and I can detect no damage/chipping to any plastic edges.
  17. Who is sleeping while there are Bandai preorders happening?
  18. If you didn't check out you ain't getting it. The cart doesn't mean anything until the transaction is processed (and there is available stock). Sorry.
