  1. o.O Did I miss something there?
  2. Remember that the Hasbro release of MP-09 was only $60 compared to the $250(?) of the Takara release.
  3. I believe it's the same size as the Unicron/Primus toys. In other words : HUGE!!!
  4. Hmm. I didn't get an MP-1 when it came out and passed on the Japanese release of MP-10... $100 is rather steep at the moment, but I'm not sure if I can pass this one up and still call myself a TF collector... Any ideas as to a timeframe?
  5. That's just it, I have to see in a scale picture to see just how massive it really is
  6. Nice work. You have any other 1/48 stuff to put in a picture with it?
  7. Droooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool. What's your next project? *crosses fingers and hopes*
  8. And this is why I won't pay Takra's prices. The only way they'll get my money is for a $60 NA release.
  9. Oh yeah? What about Too Human? Where's the support for that?!?!
  10. I'm not big into gaming. I had a 360 solely for Halo 3 (and then Mass Effect ) and that's about it. I have no interest in what the PS3 offers... but I'll be damned if DUST 514 doesn't look like it'll sway me into buying a PS3 just for that game. I want me some EVE-love without... y'know... having to play EVE
  11. The things that bother me most in TFs are hollow limbs (ie legs that don't have a back are just a u-shaped piece of plastic) and hollow spaces through the torso, where it's apparent that the robot is just a vehicle that's folded in half.
  12. Stories like that make me want to hook up the ol' 360 to the internet and give it a shot. Kinda. Maybe. Sorta.
  13. I also dislike the clear visor idea. Wasn't one of the main themes about someone trying to find his humanity in a clearly inhuman body/situation?
  14. There is no amount of WTF?!?! that I can use to express my feelings on this. The metal body of Robocop helped to define what exactly a full-body cyborg should be. I want that metalness, not the slender prothstesies (?) from Deus Ex: Human Revolution or Ghost in the Shell.
  15. Has there been any news about a North American release of MP10 and 11? Or are HasTak just gonna skip over to MP12?
  16. There's nothing wrong with wanting a happily ever after. Especially those of us who haven't gotten LI-specific DLC yet
  17. I, too, enjoyed the Bouncy Buggy of Doom from the first game. But! All that said, I really enjoyed the game. There were moments when I didn't want to put the controller down and ended up pulling an all-nighter (and then going back to work in the morning). I haven't done that for a video game in a long, long, long time
  18. In no way, shape, or form, is that a good thing. The endings felt like a mix of BSG, Sopranos, DS9, ST: Generations.
  19. So I just finished the game. I have to say, that despite being forewarned about the ending (thread titles like "Issues with ME3 ending!" are a big clue, even without reading the thread itself) I was honestly left quite... unfulfilled. Let down, if it were, by the endings. I just didn't get a sense of closure, of completness. Eugimon and The Duke have articulated my thoughts well enough, but I can honestly say that I think BioWare seriously dropped the ball here. The endings to ME and ME2 were so epic and awesome that this... just doesn't stack up with it. But! Let's talk about some of the good for a change! Epic scope. It doesn't get much bigger than "utter annihilation" and "war for the heavens", and this was captured perfectly. What really sold me on it was the little side conversations you hear in and around the Citadel. The PTSD asari in the hospital and the teenage refugee in the slums just drove home the personal side to this conflict. Not everyone is a PC like Shepard, and these two prove it. Even better was that we didn't get all of their story at once, I had to keep going back to the station to see the next bit. Given the grim nature of the game, I don't think I was out of line to expect the utter worst from their stories. Fabulous characters. I don't care what anyone says, but characters are what BioWare does best; and this is no exception. I thought Garrus really came into his own in ME2 as Archangel, but in this game I could see and feel the bond of friendship growing between him and Shepard. From their little dally above the Presidium and their heartfelt conversation before the end, I can truely say that Garrus is one person I'd love to have in any game. I even had a few Manly Tears during their final goodbye... Romance. I just might be a closet sap and hopeless romantic (okay, not so closet anymore...) but I loved the journey I took with Ashley. I came thiiiiiiiiis close to dumping her after Horizon in ME2 but I stayed strong and ignored Miranda's ample charms (not easy, btw) and I thought their reunion in this one was just so awesome. I especially enjoyed their little get-together just before the final mission. Ashley's voice-acting just did me in. Damnit, more manly tears! So what about you? What was your favourite part that the game did right?
  20. Aww, why do I have to play so slowly? I wanna read the spoilers but can't (of course, I haven't learned to not browse other forums without a spoiler function/considerate posters. Gorram it all to hell and back again!)
  21. That's a lie, you lying liar of a liar! ... right? Bah and BAH!!! But not bah for Omegablue. Welcome to the ME club!
  22. GM did quite well by backing this franchise. I don't think the redone Camero would've had NEARLY the selling point it did without that Patented Bay Beauty Shot of nu!Bumblebee rolling up to Sam and Mikaela on the tunnel
