  1. damn I read 1/60 and 1/48 "diorama" and I'm like cool, i'll get to see someone's setup. I say skip the 1/60's and save money for the 1/48's. you don't need to get all of them if you don't want to pay the prices for some of them now like the LV, but the 1S roy and CF are coming out soon with the GBP so pick those up first. 1/60's will float around the price the are right now for a while, but 1/48's tend to go up faster.
  2. dood, the LE boxset doesn't come with the full length movie?? I was looking into getting that too. I'm gettin the figures for sure...but will wait for the US release.
  3. wow, some of those look amazing. i hate the blank faces tho...no emotion whatsoever.
  4. crap, and I was hoping it would be at least decent.
  5. be sure to post some pics when you're done!
  6. hehe, that's pretty cool. I like all those expressions
  7. green and tan? I dont' think that mixes too well...but you can try it and let us all see.
  8. why don't you try one of the retailers that are on MW? maybe they can get you a better price and then you won't feel like being "ripped off".
  9. just saw this...don't know if it's a custom or what but looks pretty cool. pope
  10. I usually pose them on my desk before I move them to the display case. yah, a lot of them have loose feet joints but I guess I've been lucky to find a place where it's tight enough to hold the pose. Libra is the worst...I think it's cuz he's so top heavy...*notice his "pose"* also, you have to make sure you pop the feet joint all the way in the leg...
  11. got Mu and Deathmask while I was in China. and yah, the open hand for Mu is huge! what's up with that? here's a pic of all the gold saints so far.
  12. I think those are the new gbp hands.
  13. damn, that looks pretty good...dunno how much I like that black paint tho but the detail is very nice!
  14. wow excellent rob! I'm really glad you finished this project. I'll be back in a week or so, so you better get ready for a visit!
  15. Got my Deathmask cancer a couple days ago in Shanghai. not my favorite but still not a bad looking figure. actual toy looks better than the prototype i think. still the likeness is not as good as the final seiya. another thing I noticed is that the joints are a lot tighter which is a good thing...since the last couple have been pretty weak at the knees.
  16. THAT's the kind of complaint I dont' mind reading.
  17. if your toynamis knew there's a 1/48 on the way, they should be running back into there coffin homes cuz they're going to be really embarrassed once they see how they can never compare.
  18. if it IS in fact limited, why do they japanese companies keep the number a secret? like in the US, pretty much all limited items are given a specific number and made public even before the toys are released. so where are the japanese sites that tell you specifically what it's limited to if it is in fact limited?

    1/48 Yamatos

prices are on the rise...but that's because those who had stock and had price way up there, didn't sell as many as those who kept them at market value and moved them a long. now they're the only ones with stock and can set the price at whatever they want...I'm really curiouis to know how many they sell per month tho...
  20. the missle bay was never glued down was it? I think some ppl glued it down themselves because it wouldn't open all the way and it was loose.
  21. damn, I already don't qualify with that "intelligent things to say" part. screw you guys, you bastids! guess this would be kinda fun...sorta like an inside joke. but to us outsiders, it'd look very strange.
  22. HAHAHAAAAAAAA! Thanks man! Just so you all know, JsARCLIGHT helped talk me into this. you had to have someone TALK you into it? what kind of man are you? *sigh* I have lost all hope in your AH-nuld-ness.
  23. I am definitely looking forward to getting the final version of all the bronze saints. not only do I think the sculpt is more anime like, but the bodies they use are a lot more poseable. This is definitely a toy line that has my approval. honestly, if you look at the toys from yesteryear compared to the ones being released, I'm so glad I didn't try to collect the vintage toys. For all SS fans out there, much like all the Macross fans out there, it is a great time to be collecting these toys.
  24. anybody have deathmask yet? are they using the new bodies like Final Seiya or is it still the old versions?
