I still haven't opened up Gears of War 2 yet. I'm too busy playing Fallout 3. I just hopped back on the COD5 beta last night (it's over today folks) just to get used to the controls again. It doesn't feel much different from COD4 except for the lack of Modern Weapons. I started with COD4, so I've never played a Treyarch version, but it plays alot like COD4, so I have no gripes. Yeah, I hate when the dogs come after me, but I don't mind when I send them out. Did they ever fix the glitches on Roundhouse? I'll probably be changing my gamertag soon, if I do, I'll post it here. I'll be picking up COD5 and WOW:WotLK on Thursday.

I still had some problems after disabling FFDshow audio stuff, but I added Fallout 3 to my firewall to allow it to do whatever, and I turned off my virus scanner while I play and I have no more problems. I do get some graphics flicker because of the stupid sidebar, so i have to turn that off as well when I play.

I haven't bought it yet, waiting for a used copy: This is my current schedule: Call of Duty 5 or Gears of War 2 (picking only 1), then Fallout 3, then either Fable II or one of the other two depending on which I get first. I'll get either COD5 or Gears2 new first, then I'll pick the others up when I see used copies while I finish whatever I got first. I still have to finish SW:TFU, I'm only on the 3rd level, kids won't ever give me enough free time to play. I'm still working on the COD5 beta right now.

I just got my code today, I never played Resistence 1. If 94medition doesn't want my beta code, I'll either play it or post it here for someone that is willing to give it more time than I can.

Works fine on my Razr V3xx and Razr2. Just need to figure out how to get rid of that AT&T logo...

I was leery of COD5 because of it's WWII background, but since playing the beta for a couple of hours, I am hooked, I've already put away my copy of COD4. Of course, people are already glitching and jumping out of the map. But that's to be expected with any online game. Even without the lack of modern weapons, I still like it. This FPS will tide me over till Halo 3:Recon. I'm gonna pick up Fallout 3 also since I liked Elder Scrolls. Don't forget Gears of War 2 is coming out as well.

Haha, turned it in.... but I did read the novel that takes place before the game...can I get a half nerd badge? I never left the Citadel (yes, I'm that close to the beginning). I was searching for all the workers/repairbots/see I can't even remember what they were called. Maybe I'll give it a shot during Xmas break.

ack, saw you guys on Gears tonight, couldn't join you as my Gears disc is all scratched up and I get booted alot. Waiting for the fall update and hopefully it'll remedy my problem (plan on borrowing a coworkers disc for the hard drive install, he's borrowing my COD4 for the same reason). Then again, Gears 2, COD5, Left 4 Dead, Fable II, etc. are all coming out soon. Got Dead Space here that I haven't unwrapped yet. Never did finish Mass Effect, Ace Combat 6, Dead Rising, or Assassin's Creed yet either. Only games I finished are Halo 3, COD4, Elder Scrolls + expansion.

I'm gonna be what I am every Halloween for the last 10 years! I'm dressing up as a cop, except this year, I am going to hang a lightsaber off my duty belt. I finally got a convertec clip to fit on it.

haha, I had the same problem when I started MGS4, I had just played through MGS2 and MGS3. Now, I started over MGS4 for the 4th time, I keep getting COD4 controls and it mixed up.

I like the #21, it's not too dark, I had some valks panel lined with it, but I think I sold them all. If I can find it, I'll post some pics. --- Does anyone know if Bandai is ever going to release fighter mode only models?

$80 for a 320GB 5400rpm a good deal for the PS3? I have the 80 gb version, but if I can upgrade, why not. What is the speed on the stock 80gb hard drive?

does the black lion's tail stay up when in Voltron mode? That's the only problem my original diecast one is having. the tail likes to fall down.

Here's another question, do you recommend we buy one with machinedfx's LED installed already or just the empty saber? Now, do I want mine weathered...or pristine like AFBB... decisions, decisions....

I can do private matches ok, but I cannot join any matchmaking things. xbox live says this: Status: Up and running. You may experience intermittent issues with matchmaking in Call of Duty 4. Yeah, I didn't know if you wanted me to mention your name or not Steve (machinedfx) says he will do a run that is weathered and you should be able to get whatever color LED that is available. I'll probably stick with red.

His original price was $135 w/o blade or LED, $175 with 1W LED and blade. Sound would run you more than that depending on what soundboard you get, and if you get someone to install it would add a little more (an MW member is a lightsaber guru that does installs). I was originally going to just get it as a static prop, but since I have a spare soundcard, I'll have someone install it if it looks to be too hard for me (my soldering skills suck)

Looks nice and all, hopefully Yamato will make a 1/60 v2 of this. I can afford it now that I'm skipping the VF-25. I really think Yamato could sell enough of these to justify a regular run. I'm just not paying $500+ for this thing, my Kurt custom that I used to have was cheaper than that. Thankfully, I'm done with 1/48s...(for now)

So from what I am reading, you have to paint the red/black areas on Alto's? Or does it come with a decal ala Hasegawa's YF-19 kit? I really don't want to paint anything since I suck at it. Guess I will wait until someone releases a fighter only model or toy or I'll commission someone to build a fighter only out of the model kit.

maybe i'll buy the Alto from ya Dave. I've been waiting for someone to put out a fighter mode only model kit since it also looks like I'll be passing on the 1/60DX. I really just want to display it in fighter mode. I just wish someone would release a model kit in 1/60 scale.

what???? where do you live? (duh, forgot to check your profile, but I don't know laws in Australia) what would they charge you with? my kids and I go out all the time with our lightsabers. I even do tameshigiri with my katana in the front yard. (then again, the local cops know me)

picked one up at radio shack for $30, gutted the sound card out and ended up giving all the rest away to neighborhood kids. that's about all i would use it for.
