Thanks for the encouraging words, Guys. I'll be beginning work on the pieces next week. I Since the jeep measures nearly 17.5" in length, weight will be an issue. I'm entertaining casting the chassis/bottom half of the jeep in fiberglass resin. I'm working to make it as light and strong as possible while maintaining rich details. Also, I'll be designing it as R/C friendly as I can for anyone thinking of a do-it-yourself conversion. More soon! p.s. Lookin forward to seeing that Fuke custom!

Hey everyone, It's been a while since I've posted any builds on this site. I think the last was the 1/60 scale drone from Macross Plus....it'll resurface one of these days! My current project a 1/10 scale interpretation of Jim's jeep from Mospeada. At this stage, it's simply a MDF mock-up. I'm hoping to finish it up by the end of the weekend and get started on the actual piece next week. I'll eventually offer this as a kit. I hope you enjoy. More soon.

Does anyone have, or know of any resource material that has the elevation drawings for Jim's jeep? I have the new Mospeada art book, and though it has alot of great three quarter line art for his vehicle, I'm still at a loss to find a true side, top, front view. Thanks

I know there has been concern that this thread is dying so, what can we do to breathe new life into it? Perhaps we can take a page from the Macross related threads and discuss Mospeada customs, builds, dioramas etc.

Is $500 bucks still the suggested price?

Do the Toynami mospeadas include the same accesories as the Beagle version (hands,full cells etc.)? Thanks

Sadly, I own this thing now. It's going to take a lot of work to make it look like more than a $10 snap-kit. Perhaps we should start a "Fan Racer: How to polish a turd" build-up thread.

Hello All, I've begun work on a 1/60 scale fighter drone from Macross Plus. The fuselage was sculpted from Renshape while the wings and stablizers are styrene. Tail fins, laser turret, panel lines and missiles are next on the list. As the work thus far was done in a day, I have no prior progress pictures. I'll try to document the rest of the process a bit more thoroughly from here on.
