  1. that coke can is better engineered than the VF-25, hahaha...and looks very refreshing!
  2. they better, thanks for the update...
  3. haha, that horse pic describes all of us on MW, what movie is it from oh yes, on topic, ouch that chipping and landing gear are terrible, seriously, what were they thinking?!
  4. he probably uses it to keep membership for his fountain of youth mana
  5. Always loved Hikaru vs Breetai, we finally see what the battroid was designed for and hikaru used all he got and got owned, hehehe I loved the zero and frontier dogfight but for me, they got nothing against old school SDFM dogfight
  6. hmmm...not very excited by a retelling AGAIN
  7. awesome...I've been waiting for this... hmm...are you worried that by sanding you might have to rescribe a lot of panel lines? the kit has a LOT of panel lines and seam lines
  8. I was checking out the news thread and the animation correction for the Blu-ray disc I got a question, when airing the show, I was under the impression that poorly animated sequences was due to budget issues (blowing it all on a previews CG packed episode) and having to sort to a lesser animation studio in Korea sorry if this is a dumb question to few but if someone could explain me this, why animate so poorly broadcast episodes an then reanimate them? isn't this using extra budget, why not take a bit more time to release the episodes with proper animation and fixed mistakes? I don't get it if it can be done right...why not do it the first time?
  9. yes yes wm cheng step by step!! this will be epic
  10. WOW WOW WOW WOW!! that is one sweet clean awesome looking VF-11... the modeling is on par with the awesomeness of the kit itself, I gotta find time to build mine, hahaha thanks for posting this Andy
  11. woa...how did I miss this, nice job... keep it up, want to see it finish
  12. BUMP for severe coolness
  13. remember to not make an overly complicate mess of a poll like the one I did  according to it, Kawamori trolled my ass
  14. nice pics Hurin, good to see you still hang around over here!
  15. My old 1/60 v1 are good for me, some a bit loose but still good VF-1S VF-1J hikki, max, miria VF-1J armored VF-1A CF, Max 1/48 VF-1J Stealth is perfection 1/60 VF-0S, is a loose mess but I can live it, was lucky it didn't come with any broken or missing antennas, pieces or crooked skull, no exploding or cracked arm 1/60 YF-19, loose, broken neck hinge, replaced with recast 1/60 YF-21 perfection 1/60 VF-1S v2 is slowly disintegrating into oblivion I don't mind looseness on some toys since it's more of an annoyance but when things starts breaking up for no reason, I have a problem, things are not meant to break
  16. I got my miria q-rau a few years ago for 60 bucks shipped... fair price, I never cared to pay more than a similar price for the max q-rau considering it was only shown on DYRL for about 1 second the q-rau isn't very posable, you need to swap the missile bay from the legs and the interior cockpit detail is seriously lacking, no pilot figure and 100+ for 10 year old toy is very ambitious from Yamato
  17. I really hope they change for a more resistant material on the shoulder hinges why no ultraviolent on the canopy?!
  18. nice...
  19. hahaha!! I saw that episode of Big Bang Theory a few days ago, hahaha... good joke
  20. reason why I too consider it a 60 dollars toy: 1. It's not line accurate, not even by a mile, looks weird on all tree modes, we don't even know how poseable it is...it's ugly 2. It's expensive, 170+shipping and no super packs, attachements? stands? doubt it 3. It lacks serious engineering, huge compromises were made and we don't know why 4. At least if they could give a sane reason why they made those compromises, all we heard was 'we intended to make it chunky' WTF, who the hells like fat thing, I see girl intending to be fat, but I don't what them, why do I want a fat toy and pay for it? 5. they made two models that look better and in smaller scale... 6. they got the frontier franchise for who knows how long, no other toy company will compete with them, look at Macross 7, they are NOT improving the toy availability for Macross Only thing that looks promising for it is that it MAY be sturdy and not explode like the Yamato's, but for 170+, I want beauty and durability, same goes for Yamato, I want a 150+ toy, not a model...
  21. hahaha! pure gold!
  22. well...I don't think we have much to say on this...Over-drive is basically doing us a favor by providing us for a service outside of Japan that Yamato doesn't give a f*ck about, I'm sure they have a pretty good reason for this against the Yamato ninjas, so I say a big Thank you to them and I hope I can get my replacement shoulder hinge
  23. urrrr....darn...curse you Yamato for giving me such a fragile POS... hmm... i¿ll send another request for just the broken right hinge then, before that, I couldn't find in the manual the 'part number' for the hinge, how should I address this in the request form?
