  1. Going with a heavy weathering and beat up look. Still have to do some better dry brushing to improve the worn out look bit more. OMG, everything rubs and chips the clear coating during transformation. Excuse the poor lighting.
  2. Most logical thing to do is continue the 1/60 line, all the molds are done, all the factories have the equipment, all the distributors are waiting. Smartest thing to do (in my opinion) if the merger/adquisition/rebranding of Yamato was successful, is to reissue the most popular line, the VF-1's 1/60, get feedback on demand/sales decide if its profitable to see if they should continue the project they were working on (v2 Macross Zero and YF-19) if the rumors were true.
  3. Muy buenas las colecciones de todos ustedes. aiorus_22, pintastes todo y los emblemas a mano con brocha, increible! te quedo muy bueno.
  4. Someone really wanted that valk scheme. I wonder for how much could a custom scheme go for now.
  5. Decals, but I did had to do a couple, the stickers sheet is incomplete so I just did an oil wash on them and they painted very easily, too bad I can't say the same about those panel lines.
  6. I'm doing an Alaska base custom and went nuts when I was painting and noticed some parts were greenish and I was like, when did that happened? thinking I had somehow smeared it with my fingers, I cleaned and cleaned and never could get it white enough, until I decided to check parts I hadn't touch and saw they were coming out that way. If you look at the VF-1A Max and Kakizaki, you can notice the slight color change in the front and rear fuselage.
  7. Yeap. I ordered a pair last night and got a cannot print message also. Thanks for your hard work on this man.
  8. BUMP! I want Lego to do aquire this!
  9. There was VF-1D white kit also. From what I gather in the kit that I have, they are meant to be TV valks and not DYRL, mostly by the white TV shade, TV pilot and clown hands. But some parts are a greenish tone of white like you mention. Most likely parts molded in different factories giving those slight tone difference
  10. So, if this becomes the first Arcadia release, will we buy it? I don't think that scheme will be final, it will have to use a lot of tampo printing and even that will scratch during transformation, they can't mold the parts on separate colors since the scheme is so crazy.
  11. Varuata valks?? I would rather have the VF-14 that the Varuata refitted.
  12. That MGS gatling gun is wicked! VF-1A Yamato assembly kit So close to finish, unto weathering and working with the canopy and tinting all the glass parts.
  13. So awesome! want to see some of this complete So, any future plans for a 1/60 version? I'd be all over that!
  14. Why are all the Zentradi made in such a small scale?? Nice models but 150 is too pricy for 1/100
  15. Guess only time will tell if this will suceed with Bandai, but they seem to have forgotten that most Macross fans are spoiled and complain about everything. hehehehe!
  16. THERE'S A COUPON CODE???? Orders immediately VF-17D w/Super packs...5% off, knock 17 bucks off the price, better than nothing. Woohoo, thanks!
  17. I supposed 1/72 PT VF-1 would be too fragile and 1/48 YF-19, YF-21, VF-0, etc... would be humongous. Altough, I dream of a 1/48 VF-4
  18. Like mentioned, get out your calculator and add to see if shipping cost to you with angolz, hkc, ebay are cheaper than your local seller, of course, there's the added cost of piece of mind with a toy at hand immediately and no wait. I understand your situation. I live in Panama, local post office is a black whole for anything other than letters. Only way to make sure I get my products safely at hand is to pay a third party company that receives my packages on a private warehouse in Miami and then get it shipped here via UPS or Fedex. So I must pay for the product and shipping to Miami and then pay the overprice shipping of UPS/FEDEX to get it here in 3 days and also give the guys a little extra to keep my stuff safe and avoid added BS taxes. What I hate the most is that Panama is the center for importing/exporting or the world thanks to the canal, but the government is so inefficient and we still can't get decent/safe EMS service. Just stupid. So I pretty much pay around 50-90 bucks for complete shipping depending on weight/size.
  19. LOL, Quote of the month. Now that the VF-1 with option parts is pretty much perfect and how well their PT engineering is as shown with the VF-19's and VF-4, I will also buy every valk they make. Except the VF-19 Kai and anything Basara touched. Althought I would buy a VF-11 MAXL and put it in my coffee table for a huge laugh when friends come to visit.
  20. Licenses are mostly held by scale in the toy world. Even tough 1/72 seems the norm in models and most toys, Yamato was very smart to focus on 1/60 knowing how completest collectors tend to be which is why almost every other scale VF-1 release fails, If you were able to 1/60 valks PT from Yamato why would you want a 1/100 partsformer.
  21. Depends, a lot of us scrambled to try and complete our collection. Some willing to pay horribly marked up prices. What if a lot of people end up spending a lot more than expected, finish their collection and then Arcadia releases reissues but they have already spend too much or have no need for more valks, will they buy it??? Double edge sword. If Arcadia would announce something a lot of us would just wait to give Arcadia our full support and not have to resort to this f*cking scalpers. Don't understand why all the secrecy. Stupid legal mombo jombo!
  22. No https://www.hkcollectibles.com/macross-robotech/7024-vf-17s-diamond-force.html
