Macross Collectibles Market Watch - Current Auction/Store SOLD prices
Valkyrie addict replied to jvmacross's topic in Toys
Sorry but for me no angelbird is worth more than 200, worst if it's not bundled with the Hikaru fan racer. I snagged this one: http://page16.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/u63971364 Missing the gunpod, armor hands and feet attachment but a good deal for the valk and armor together. -
Thank you, I'm happy you all like it, if you'd like to see how I did the arm mod for the missiles and gunpod you can check out my signature. I made the decals myself. Was not easy, first time, a lot of trial and error. The white chest markings are a mix and match from the Yamato waterslide decal , had to cut and shape for the "CVS-101" since I don't have a printer than prints white. What stripes exactly? you mean the light purple? they're painted WOW! thank you very much but I'm don't reside in the US... Nopeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :D

Arcadia 1/60 Perfect Transformation VF-0D for 2015
Valkyrie addict replied to Dark_Ghost's topic in Toys
Arcadia said they acquired only the newest latest molds from Yamato. The Zero Yammie were old molds. Happy to see the prototype, looks promising. Sad to see that the airbrake appears to be non-functional -

From the Variable Master File VF-1 Valkyrie Space Wings book. Lots of pictures incoming. I got this VF-1J that was damaged from member MikeRoz (thank you) I mostly got it for the options parts. Now I had a VF-1J with no use so I decided to fix it and do a simple scheme that turned into much, much more. It took longer than I expected but I'm very happy with the results, hope you guys like it.

Yahoo auction Japan. I use fromjapan.com as a proxy service. http://page7.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/g129859484 http://page11.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n132500012 After fees and combined shipping I payed total 39,851. Don't know about you but I feel it was a fair price since the VF-1D Virgin Road usually goes for 300 before shipping, doing my best to keep my rule of no VF-1 should be more than 200 bucks.

Valkyrie Addict's Little Shop of Horrors
Valkyrie addict replied to Valkyrie addict's topic in The Workshop!
Sorry guys, haven't had time to set everything up and take pictures. Real life has been taking most of my time, will do my best to get everything setup soon, there's an incoming 5 day holiday beginning this weekend but I won't be at home so will try and take pictures before I leave. Hope you weren't very fond of the baby blue I had on the "Lucky 7" scheme I changed it to a more accurate color to match, it's actually the SVF-13 squadron from the variable master file, I just call it "Lucky 7" because the tail-art is reminiscent of the real life 90th Fighter Squadron with a pair o dice Lucky 7 emblem. -
Ok, thanks

Its not only toy collecting, this is an investment!!!

Great thread, love your weathering technique.

All Experten kits are transformable.
-
Damn 3/8 brass rods!! Definately a heavy kit. Coming out great as always. So many cool things on the background of your workshop. Would be nice to see a comparison shot of your 1/48 Boos pod with the 1/72
-
Really impressive, very very very nice! Specially since it's a scratch build. 2nd place huh? that could have possibly beat your kit? hope it wasn't a Gundam.
-
Great job, you did a lot of justice to the kit to make it look good!
