Actually that hadn't even crossed my mind until you mentioned it. The pose itself is based on something I saw in an art book and the overall idea I dreamed up after watching the Afro Samurai movie.

I liked JA. he was lame but in a good way. He had an interesting film noir scifi styling to him that makes him look unintentionally like a megadues from Big O now if we want to talk about ugly and EVA, I'd nominate the mass production units. and I'm not even sure what this is out side of being from one of the rebuild movies, but I'm already sure it's the ugliest thing ever.

it's reasonable to assume that the 171 and the 17 are more a less the same, what with the former being a derivative of the latter. I as for the VF-4, the chart has it at 15.5 to the top of the fins. that makes it a little taller than the length of the fighter. Considering how much less the VF-4 fold up going from fighter to battroid compared to most other VF's

yeah, it does look a little off but It should actually work. first the head is actually sitting a little bit to low, the neck should be longer and the head should sit higher. also, with the transformation it actually should work. when it transforms to fighter/Gerwalk mode. the blue and red highlighted parts move forward in the direction of the blue arrow until they're far enough forward for the head to be tucked down, then the red panel slides back in the direction of the red arrow until it meets up with the cowl on the head, covering the face. also the chin and forehead close up around the big "eye" structure, making the face smaller. (sort of a mix between the VF-25S head, and the head of the Type zero labor from Patlabor 2 the movie.)

bumpedy bump bump... hows about some massive beam cannon/mini-aircraft carrier Frankenstein battroid! YAY VF-400S!!! lets see, the blisters on the sides of the shoulder boosters split open in front to fire missiles. the long pipes sticking out of the blister are tipped with vernier thrusters for maneuvering, and the chunky fin things are mounting points for additional missiles (usually reaction warheads, but it can be other things like long range missiles or micro missile launchers)

one thing to mention, the sheild is ending up on in the wrong spot. it should be on the side of the arm in battroid mode, not on the bottom.

official numbers say it is that small, as strange as that may be. it's supposed to be 11.24 meters, which matches the chart. the one's that look REALLY off are the VF-3000, which is supposed to be nearly twice the size of the VF-1, and the VF-4. the closest thing to an actual number I've seen for the VF-4 is a little over 13 meters. I have no idea how accurate that number is though.

and episode 25, and at least 1 other time (forget which episode).

most published reviews said that multiplayer was the games weakest point. don't get your hopes up.

time to bring this thread back from the dead! looks like anon is is at it again. a few new valks and I think the size on the VF-14 looks better, but the VF-3000 and VF-4 are now WAY off.

that still sounds like Macross II in a nutshell actually.

I almost feel it's unfair to bring up anything From G gundam since it seems like the point with most of them was to make them as atrocious as possible. as for transforming Gundams, I like the one's in 00. Kyrios has a cool waverider-esque flight mode, and the MS mode I like better than the original zeta. (even more so for the Gust pack from 00V http://www.mahq.net/mecha/gundam/00v/gn-003af-g02.htm)

nice box, poo toy. and the box does you little good if you keep it a closet (like me). I will say that if you do some panel lining, throw on the Fast packs, and put it in GERWALK mode, it actually looks pretty good from a distance.

Those are so bad to the point that they become ironically funny. battlefield earth is just utterly horrible to the point of being painful to watch.
