RD Tallgeese III's skirt armor are static pieces so unless they remolded them (which I doubt) they won't have thrusters on Tallgeese I And on the subject of color, I just find it disappointing that they're releasing the model kit with an inferior looking color scheme to a toy that's coming out right after. Look at the pictures with it unpainted with no panel lines or decals and you can see how completely bland it looks. Yeah it's a kit and can be repainted but it's kind of a bummer that you have to paint it just to fix the colors. Not to mention thinking about all the time, effort and added expense involved in fully painting a kit kind of put a damper on ones enthusiasm for it. :edit: Also; The giant eagle crest on the shield is my absolute favorite element of Tallgeese I's design, so not having a decal for that is very disappointing to me.

I don't know why but there's something oddly appealing to about the new beast hunter deluxes: I already have the original Wheeljack and Soundwave molds, but the remolds look just crazy enough to work for me, and I never did pick up any form of Prime Bumblebee. also Soundwave has ravage- 18291 replies

eh, he's less hollow looking in dino mode, more articulated in robot mode and way the hell bigger overall than Animated Grimlock, so that's good enough for me. (and the light up face is pretty cool too).- 18291 replies

Chromedome has always been my least favorite headmaster and I think he's the least interesting looking Figure of the one's Fansproject has shown so far. The only one I'm really interested in right now are their Minerva and Alligator Prime- 9552 replies

I want the US version. 1) because even with inflated TRU prices and CA sales tax it'll still be $50~$100 cheaper than buying the Japanese version, 2) because the colors on US MP prime are better, and 3) because I want the satisfaction of finding one in a physical store and buying it.
-
I don't think stuff that isn't coming out til end of January/march count as holiday loot. Which reminds me I don't have anything on preorder that's coming up for quite a while. I've also had zero luck tracking down an MP prime so the only thing I'm going to be getting before then end of the year will probably be that Kanu Unchou statue I ordered at the end of November that's been shipping for the past 3 weeks. In other words I'm getting nothing for Christmas.

I'm surprised you didn't mention that the black booster packs are now COMPLETELY WHITE. That's the single biggest thing wrong with the colors IMO although lack of giant eagle and too much blue are also off-putting. If they fixed those three things (black boosters, black toes, and eagle crest) I'd be completely ok with the extra yellow and light grey body accents. Way more excited for RD Tallgeese at this point, even though I'd we willing to paint the thing if I had to. :edit: I knew I'd see this particular color scheme somewhere before: basically it's a weird amalgamation of how Katoki colored it in his Gundam Fix art book.

I've got like 9 people on my friends list total. Of those, three are people from here and they're the only people I know who play halo and I hardly ever see them playing war games. And if I could get enough people together for a game I'd rather be playing co-op or custom game modes. Normally I don't even play slayer but that's the only game mode that has people playing where I can get the AR/frag kills I need.

I don't like the "just play with a competitive team all the time" solution because a) that kind of defeats the point of online matchmaking IMO and b) that's not how I like to play video games. I like to be able to jump on, shoot some people in the face and jump off whenever I like. :edit: I miss the old skill based matchmaking of halo 3. If you were having a bad day, the game would just give you increasingly bad people to play against until you started doing well again. :edit:edit: Also the thing about the sniper rifle is at least that takes some semblense of skill to use effectively where as the mantis can just decimate teams without any kind of effort on the part of the driver.

ugh, I'm super frustrated with war games right now. I'm still grumbling over the loss of King of the hill as a playlist, and ever since this infinity challenge thing has started things have been no fun at all. There's basically nobody playing anything but slayer and swat, and those playlists are full of nothing but lag spikes and boltshot/scattershot/shotgun/sword campers. I just want to finish the UNSC loadout commendation man, is that too much to ask?

honestly, the second one looked terrible. I do like how the first one has just as much shaky cam, lens flare and zoomed in way the hell too much cinematography as the bay movies.

I could make a lengthy post as to how the design aesthetics of the movie transformers actually make sense within the context of how transformers are supposed to be a form of mechanical based alien lifeforms, both in terms of how they handle transformation and how their bodies are laid out; But at this point I don't feel like this thread nor this entire line of discussion is deserving of anything more than condescension and snark.

I'm actually glad that at I missed a lot of the RTS stuff at regular retailers, I was eventually able to get Perceptor, jazz and tracks for like $7 each at Ross down the line. the only thing I never got that I really wanted was Grapple, although I think I prefer hot spot as that mold anyways, his colors are so crazy and he's got an amazingly evil looking head.- 18291 replies

I've only seen retail Combaticons once at a TRU, but there was a complete set there. No idea if all of them where bought by the same person but they were all gone in a couple days (passed on them because I don't need 5 deluxes at once and I'm not really liking the FoC toys so far). You should get him because he's awesome and quite possibly the coolest looking toy in the Prime RID line thus far. Transformers prime Frenzy by Mike - drowning in plastic, on Flickr I really need to buy up a bunch of reprolabels for my prime toys. knockout and ratchet desperately need them, and rumble looks even more awesome with them. http://reprolabels.com/Prime/p7.php- 18291 replies

Would you believe that at a Target this close to Christmas, with the Transformers shelves picked almost completely clean I happened to find a lone Rumble Frenzy on a peg next to a couple bumblebees and a knockout? This dude is so awesome, he's like a little blue munchkin of doom and I love him.- 18291 replies

So um... I aparently just bought this: http://www.hlj.com/product/ymt35056 The one time something from Yamato comes out before the last day of the month and it was a pre-order I was planning on canceling. no idea what HLJ's policy is for canceling items that have already been paid for and are in your private warehouse.

Can I just say that the transformers movies have all been incredibly stupid, awful movies. But they've been stupid and awful in ways that make me laugh. And anyways I like movie designs, they're freaky and weird looking with looks of crazy stuff going on which makes for cool toy engineering.

Nope, I that pretty much sums up CCA. I still think you should get the MG Nu Ver. Ka though, it's so pretty and has an inner frame that glows under black light.
