Nerve racking... I hope AJ list the item earlier than last time, having missed that (giving up and gone to sleep) I will not be able to sleep until AJ is done (or if I get one elsewhere).

Amiami said that the page is special due to expected high traffic. In what way I wonder. Do they have some mechanism to avoid crashes? NY has not activated the queueing system yet. Kind of hate that, but seems like it is either that or they crash.

Here is good luck to everyone who is trying tonight. I am hopeful but also being realistic like most people here. Will try to get two at PO price and failing that, just get one at a markup price later. Will have to check all my account and payment set up at all the sites prior to the start of PO.

Thanks. Didn't realize it was a model kit. I think they are a nice little project that I could tackle. Will hunt around for a build step by step to see if I am up to it.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I am really worried about the registration problem. I think this problem will also be the key issue for using the ghost white toner for laser printer (https://www.ghost-white-toner.com/shop/white-toner-hp-canon-1215w/). I was tempted to buy a used printer and one toner cartridge and try this out. But you will need to print the white backing first and then the color image on top of that on a second pass. Some video tutorial suggested trying to shrink the white pattern a tiny bit to eliminate white edge around the graphic. The printer is just over $100. If I have the time, it might be cheap enough to just get it and test out the registration consistency on consecutive runs. My old impression from using laser printers (decades ago when using HP laser printer) is that the feeding mechanism is more consistent compared to the cheapy inkjet printer that I have now. I might be too over-optimistic about this.

@anasazi37, Your decal rock, I think I still have a set of Minmay guard from you that I have not use yet. So I hope you can help advice about this idea that I have been toying with. If I print on white laser decal paper to have the white backing that help with using it on non white surface, and then use a laser cutting (like the Forge) machine to cut out or trim the decal down. Will that be a good setup? Need to learn more about the capability of the laser cutting machine. If. There is an easy way to register the position of the pattern, then painful trial and error will not be necessary.

I stop myself from getting that kit. The cost + space and skill required. Already have a huge backlog. But it is surely nice. "Presence"! Especially with Anasazi's decal. -
Did anyone find the HMR canopy to be too thick? I didn't notice or care at first, but my VT-1 has a cloudy canopy, then I notice how thick they are. Not sure if the polish + future/pledge dunk method will work. Worth trying to do a vacuum forming replacement? Any idea?

The good thing for me is, Milia is not shipped, waiting for the VE-1 PF release. And then they will be on the ferry. It will be months before I really will feel the pressure of the missing PF Max. Good to have some time for my wallet to recover.

I am also been eyeing PF Max since I ordered the Milia PF. Still holding out, but I know I will cave in at the end.
